We came to Red Pier Cajun Seafood & Bar on September 3, 2023. Our waitress name Red was great! She was very nice, she had us laughing and when she seen that the amount of food that we order was too big for the small table we were at she moved us to a bigger table and made sure we were comfortable. During our meal we can tell something that wasn’t good had happened with our waitress and another coworker because her tone and facial expression has changed with them to a more serious one, but she stayed nice and pleasant with us which I think is real commendable of her for doing that. The food was good, but my king crab legs shell was real soft where I couldn’t crack them they just bent back and forth. It would be nice if the restaurant give extra plates for the customers to put food on and eat off of instead of the small rectangle paper food tray (the kind movie theaters use for nachos or hot dogs) that we were given. Other than that suggestion about the plates it was a nice place to eat at.

Memphis is the half way point for our family to meet up. So we eat at a lot of places. This place struck us as a place we would like to try... It's always packed which is usually a good sign. I want to lead of by saying or server was great... She just seemed swamped. She was pleasant, efficient, laughed and made us laugh. The food was okay.. Nothing spectacular... At least for the price. The po boys were okay... The shrimp and oysters portions were out of proportion for the size of the sandwich and not in the good way. The combo B...I think it was..the tub of food which two people split was impressive upon first glance; however, one you realized the content not sure it was worth the $70 price tag. The atmosphere was good and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves... The entire facility could use a thorough deep-cleaning. All in all not a bad place just maybe not quite worth the price.

I usually order from here all the time and my food is usually very good but today I received the complete opposite. I ordered a crawfish Po boy with fries and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were cold when I got it which confuses me because red pier is 10 minutes away from me and the delivery driver was pretty fast. The worst thing was the “crawfish po boy” I received. It was catfish instead with no sauce on the bread and old lettuce on the sandwich as well. None of it tasted fresh. I would’ve been fine if the restaurant would have called first (like other restaurants have) and told me they were out of crawfish but I didn’t get a call. I just received the wrong order and the cherry on top was the old lettuce. I’m never ordering again.

Saw this place and thought that sounds different (for me) and could be tasty. Well I was right. Lots of choices and variations to choose from and specials as well. I loved the way the meal was presented which kept the food hot. The gator bites was terrific as well. Each bite of my meal was great and the after taste just as good. I can say that the portions were very generous and priced well for seafood. Lots of TVs available for sports and a well stocked bar and drafts available. Take out I believe is also available. Why not a 5 star you ask. It’s very simple. For the type of food they serve and prices I expect flat ware especially a knife for digging out the crab and cut potatoes but other than that it was great!

I stopped in spontaneously for lunch after hearing great reviews & they did not disappoint. The quality of the seafood and the fact that they don't skimp you like other restaurants is why I will be back!! My server Brandy was a delight & I enjoyed casually conversing with her as she managed multiple tables so graciously and efficiently!

It's one of my favorite chill spots. I go often during happy hour 3-6 to dine at the bar. Bartender, who I had never seen there before, wasn't over friendly, but she was attentive. Food was almost perfect as always.
