I normally don’t put in negative reviews because I am a big advocate for discussing disappointments and bringing cause of concerns to the attention of those managers/leaders/supervisors in hopes to correct. In this case, the level of service I received from a business that I’ve patronized since it opened missed the mark. We order pizza, salad, wings and loaded fries from this location at least twice a weekly mainly on the weekends, spending upward $100-$150 a week at this establishment to feed my family a couple nights a week. Yesterday evening we wanted to get out of the house and eat. We chose to go to this establishment to watch the game while eating dinner. When we arrived the manager was unwelcoming and proceeded to sit us at a high top table. I declined due to recently having surgery that would prohibit me from getting up and down out of such a high seat. I then requested a lower table, in which was available (picture included); however she denied my family seating in this section due to not having enough staff. I understood this until the bar waitress came over, grabbed menus and proceeded to sit us in the section of tables that would have accommodates us; however the manager, Jewels, ran over and instructed her not to seat us and that we would have to wait for another table to get up. Myself and my family felt unwelcome. And to add insult to injury, 2 other groups came in after us and was able to be seated. I then went and asked to speak with Jewels and asked her more about the procedure on how to handle seating of individuals when short on staff. Her first statement was “People don’t like to come to work after Covid”. This was not the answer I was hoping to get. She then changed her stance on seating us and said that she could sit me and my family directly next to another group in the section that was empty the whole time. Also, important to note that we had been waiting 20 minutes by this point. At that moment, it was clear that her inability to provide good leadership abilities to problem solve while maintaining her customer’s sentiment was not there and it was in my best interest to leave the establishment. I personally felt the manager, Jewels, interacted with my family and I with unconscious bias and she needs to be made aware of the damage this type of behavior can have on a business’s word of mouth reputation and future growth. People can get food from anywhere, it is how the consumer is made to feel when choosing to purchase it from a particular establishment that will determine whether or not they come back. Unfortunately, I choose not to return to this establishment and hope the manager who was on duty is made aware of the negative impact caused in this matter and the opportunity for her to improve to prevent this type of behavior going forward. Best of luck

Ate here a few weeks back. I am originally from Pennsylvania (45 yrs) and moved to Arlington 4 yrs ago. Have been searching for decent pizza here since we arrived. FINALLY we have found it at Rock N Dough! The Mrs. had Loaded Fries (Cheddar, mozzarella, bacon, dill ranch). Dill Ranch dressing is Killer! I had The Rita pizza (Roma tomatoes, grape tomatoes, basil, fresh mozzarella, red sauce) EXCELLENT! Fresh tomatoes, great tasting sauce and plenty of Cheese. Crust was what I have been looking for here. Crispy with a great texture. Had a very nice dark beer with it. Delish. Service was outstanding as well. Can't remember the young lady's name but she was awesome. Very attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was typical of a Pizza/Bar. Tv's and lots of good music playing in time with the Videos on screen, and NOT too loud. Do yourself a favor and get some. My new go to Pizza in Tennessee

Getting seated was quick. Not asked what kind of table or location but that didn't change anything. First time and tried the Giant Pretzel. It was light and not heavy. Good color and super tasty. Would have been better with a light slathering of butter and more salt. Only one portion of it actually had salt. The cheese dip that accompanied the Pretzel was tasty. On to the pizza, it was flavorful and the medium was what other places would consider large. The same dough as the Pretzel and was unique and held up well to the topings. Beer selection wasn't pretty good and they looked to have a good whiskey selection as well. Only down side is the price of the pizza seemed a tad bit high. And a side salad costing $8 was excessive. Some adjustments would make this an even better place to visit on the regular. Worth a try.

Visited today and the service was so bad, I'm not sure I can justify returning. The food is fantastic and I was so excited to get off work early and head over for the NFL draft, some beer, and the best pizza in Memphis. We arrived at 7 and sat at the bar. It was busier than id seen it before. Not wanting to be a bother, we ordered a beer and an app to start and let the bartender know we would order pizza shortly (with our second drink). About an hour in (and not having been looked at by the bar tender, despite efforts to wave her down) we were finally able to get a second drink and again asked for someone to come get the pizza order. Attempts were made to get some attention, but after another hour (now rounding on 9:15, and not having gotten a drink or water in over an hour), we flagged down a waitress that was sweeping to ask if she could locate the bartender (who hadn't been behind the bar in at least 20 minutes). She told us they stopped taking food orders half an hour ago and all she could do was get us the tab. I've never been so disappointed in service. I try to give as much grace as possible, but arriving at 7pm for dinner, making it known we wanted to order, and still leaving hungry with the only option for dinner now being fast food- I'm not sure I can justify the risk of going back. I would understand if we came near closing, but being there for more than two hours to not get food- completely...
