I have been a loyal customer at this Starbucks location every Tuesday for the past year while waiting for my daughter to finish her cheerleading practice nearby. Unfortunately, my experience today left me with a very negative impression due to how I was spoken to by one of the employees.
I felt singled out and unwelcome, as if I were being asked to leave without justification. The employee informed me that I needed to make a purchase in order to remain in the store. I politely explained that I had already purchased a tea, as I do every week. Despite this, I was asked if I wanted to buy another item, which implied that my initial purchase was not sufficient.
This experience was disappointing, especially given conversations Iāve had with other minority customers who have reported similar concerns about service at Starbucks. I truly hope that Starbucks will take steps to ensure all customers are treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their background. Implementing training programs focused on effective and inclusive communication could be a valuable step in fostering a welcoming environment for everyone.

While studying I saw TWO cockroaches, I picked them up myself because the employees will not make eye contact and will ignore you unless you are ordering. I live across the street and I have been several times- at best the experience has been mediocre but most of the time it is just terrible. This last visit I was the only one in line and 4 employees were either busy talking to each other or eating food directly out of the pastry case- gross. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually have no issue with this Starbucks which is why I gave it as high as a 2 star, but I made an online order and chose pick up through drive thru....when I got there I pulled just straight up, I guess I missed a sign or something saying they were doing "cafe" only. But when someone got to the window she told me this....I explained I didn't have a mask unfortunately which is mandated right now. I tried to be polite and joke about it since I didn't realize but the woman was just very rude. With the way she spoke and shutting the drive thru door closed as I was talking.
