Look I'm a simple type of guy and I love this place. I been living next to this subways for 9-10 years so far and been going here off and on. Sometimes everyday or 3-4 times in a weekday even. They been having new staff through the years but there are always the two same workers I have seen ever since I stepped foot into this establishment. They have been nothing but kind/courteous and get to the point of my sandwich/meal, Lol. I always get a flat bread with the grilled white chicken as the meat, orange/white colby(cheddar) shreds being toasted. Than adding lettuce, regular mayo, cucumbers and green peppers and onions and also tomatoes. I use to get black olives but not anymore. Other people who may review this establishment, this specific one here in Memphis,Tn and may or will say it's bad and all that mumbo jumbo, they just do not know how to be kind and stop asking for so much things that they can't give to you. An having a attitude that works in hand of not being kind or patient, be loud and clear(of course) and point to what you would like/love on your meal(I greatly encourage this). Don't give them a hard time, some may be new and training and some not. We are adults and we work, most in food industry like me. I'm a server and have great respect for these workers at this subway. I don't be social with them so they don't know a lot about me like I do with them, but if they saw this review I hope they get a smile on their face. They know/seen my Farther and autistic brother(quite often through the years) if they need that to know who...
Read more7/31/25- 1:00PM. Two people working both speaking a foreign language non stop on their phones which is very rude to me as a customer. They both didn’t stop talking on the phone for the 10 minutes i was there. As the man was making my sandwiches he kept digging INSIDE his ear. At one point (while he was still talking on the phone) he took his glove off, continued to DIG IN HIS EAR with his bare fingers then looked at the gunk he pulled out on his finger. He put another glove on (still talking on the phone) went back to making the sandwhich and that was it for me. I had to walk out. Culturally, i understand these people do not have the same sanitary standards as Americans but this was beyond unacceptable. Talking on the phone and digging in your ears with your fingers while making a customer a sandwich is quite possibly the most disgusting thing I’ve ever witnessed. I encourage everyone to read this and think twice before spending your money here. You can get a better sandwhich elsewhere and won’t have to worry about unsanitary practices from...
Read moreGuess the two ladies in there were upset about working the holiday. No greeting when myself and my daughter came through the door... When I told her I needed a moment to decide what I wanted, she huffed and puffed like a child. I ordered a spicy Italian flatizza--my usual that I order all over Memphis. She took four pieces of meat and laid them on the flat bread. I asked if she was supposed to cut them and every other subway automatically cuts them.. She said she could if I wanted. I told her I'd appreciate it if she would. All the while, me and my daughter are giving each other looks because obviously she's in a bad mood. The other lady asked if I wanted any veggies and if so which ones. She held on to them while the other lady practically tossed the meat all over the flat bread. I eventually stopped her and told her forget it, I didn't want it, & that I hoped they had a better day and left. By judging the other reviews, that place sucks. I'll just stick to my usual subway on South Highland....
