The Wing Guru — Restaurant in Memphis

I have patronized this location weekly for about a year now because of the close proximity to the gym (Planet Fitness) that I work out of however, I have noticed a significant drop in the quality of the product, (especially considering the price point) and the service received, that I attribute to the staffing levels. After my last visit, Friday 1/31/2025, I will most likely never patronize this location again. I arrived for my weekly visit to two employees, a man and young lady, feverishly working in the kitchen preparing what I understood to be a rather large order. After what seemed like eternity, my presence was finally acknowledged by both persons but not addressed until the young lady was edged on by the male employee to finally take my order. Somewhat irritated, she came to the register and proceeded to take my order but after I ordered the wings and attempted to order some side items, she stopped and gave me a laundry list of why they couldn't prepare sides, ( " a fryer was down, they were in the middle of preparing a large order, the dog ate my homework......whatever"). I requested clarification by asking her, " so you mean that I can't order, what's on the menu, because you are a little busy?" She confirmed that and even commented that she "should have locked the door before I came in". In FRONT off me! Ratchet customer service at its best. I politely responded that I would happily take my money to one of her numerous nearby competitors, and left. As I stated, with the steady slide in the quality of the product and gold star employees like this, I don't envision this location surviving ...

I'm so dang Disappointed! I ordered my wings online as you can imagine since there is no phone to call.. I was not able to modify my order to say i want them Fried crispy the softness and blandness of those wings really got my stomach turning. I ordered a 20 pcs Combo with fried okra, I shared it with 2 of my Co workers and we all Agreeded that This was 1 and done for us! Like i waisted $44 🤦🏾‍♀️ That't not cool!!!!! This was my first and last time i read the reviews and gave you guys the benefit of the doubt!!! I'm upset because why are you guys so damn high but the quality of the food is Horrible? i shouldnt have to experience a bad day in a resturant and look pass that. "The ice machince is down" ok No problem! thats something you dont sweat over BUT!! to Charge me 44 dollars for Soft cooked, bland ,baige looking chicken is Unacceptable! I would have called to say this but Like i said NO PHONE...

I absolutely love Wing Guru and usually go to the Mt Moriah location. Decided to try this location this time. I order the grilled fish dinner specifically as my baby does not eat fried food. When I came in to get my order that I waited close to 30 minutes for, they showed me my order and it was fried fish instead of the grilled fish I ordered. They stated that the grill wasn't on. So I guess you don't keep all of your necessary appliances on to produce orders for your customers. Then I was told you don't give refunds and that I would have to wait another 15 minutes for the grilled fish I ordered. I wanted my money back and that took another 15 minutes or so. I'm not understanding why my order was placed for a certain meal but they just took it upon themselves to give me what they wanted. I'll just continue going to the Mt. Moriah location because that was totally...
