Wendy's — Restaurant in Memphis

I don't know what happened to my previous one star review, or what made me think it was wise to give this location another chance, but allow me to reiterate how much I wish there was a ZERO STAR option on Google. I pulled up about an hour ago and there was no line. I thought I was lucky. Nope. I was cursed.

I ordered two #1 Dave's single combos with a chocolate Frosty for the drink. Guess what? No Frosty. Okay. Just Cokes then. I also ordered two large chilis and a ten piece spicy nugget. It was $36 and some change, so I pull up with $42. Baby girl at the window got confused, told me I gave her too much, and then jumped to the conclusion that I was giving her a tip instead of giving me back a five dollar bill and some change. I thought, "Okay. You know what? She probably needs that little $5 more than I do. I'm tired and I just want to get these little burgers and fries home to my wife and stepdaughter without no static. Plus, maybe she'll hook the order up? Who knows? I'm just going to let it go and let God."

So Ms. Mathematics asks me to back my car up off the sensor so she can game the timer because they're making our order "fresh." Okay, baby. That's fine. I got you. So I back up and wait patiently. After five minutes, she motions for me to pull forward, and I pull off with what I think is my order.

Nope. Two old burgers, burnt fries that taste like they got fried twice, nasty nuggets, and no chili. And on top of all that the Cokes taste like a bunch of cherry and vanilla syrup all mixed in. I think they need to clean that Coca-cola Freestyle machine...

Don't go to this Wendy's...

Don't come here after 11:40pm. It looks open. They won't take your order. You will just sit at the drive through until 5 minutes till, then they'll say they are closed. Or if you go to the window, they won't acknowledge you are sitting there. My vote for the worst Wendy's in Memphis. UPDATE FROM A YEAR AGO: WELL SPEED HAS IMPROVED HOWEVER... THE EMPLOYEE AT THE DRIVE THRU WROTE DOWN MY DEBIT CARD INFORMATION AND DECIDED TO FEED ALL HER FRIENDS ON MY CARD! I FILED A FRAUD ALERT AND CANCELED MY CARD. I GOT MY MONEY BACK FROM THE BANK. I NEVER GOT AN APOLOGY OR EVEN A KISS MY BUTT FROM WENDYS. DONT USE YOUR DEBIT CARD HERE FOLKS! Slow.slow.slow Must be something about my looks. Took 10 minutes to take my order, but the guy behind me was waited on as soon as he walked in. I'll go there one more time. We'll see. This is the one more time, I cant believe its still slow. The food has gotten worse too. I mean really old burgers. The condition of the condiment area was gross, and get this ..the drink machine tasted moldy. I think this store has it the absolute rock bottom. Slow service, poor quality, and dirty as a prison bathroom. Im outa here. Gotta go get something to eat somewhere else. I won't be back until I see a sign that says revamped Under New Management. Look at all the bad reviews, I don't know how this place is even open. Dave would roll over...

Had to walk around to the drive through to get in.....main entrance locked..no sign telling you what to do...about to get back in my truck when my friend notice people walking in on opposite side of the building. Went in Little guy just stared at us finally he dry asked us if he could help. My friend ordered then I asked if Wendy's still served the big fish....he didn't have any idea what I was talking about and said so. Then I said could I just get a plain salad and fries...he rang it up and my total was over seven dollars....I said something is wrong but I didn't want to hold up the person behind me so I paid him. After the last customer went I stepped back to the counter and asked him to point to the salad he charged me for...it was the wrong one. I could not think of the proper name so I explained to him a salad with just lettuce and tomatoes. He said we don't have that. Then my friend stepped back up and pointed to the garden salad finally he saw the correct thing I got it for me...but I had to ask him for a refund 3 times...he several times to do it himself then gave up when about five other customers were behind me and called a mgr who refunded me be did not apologize at all.....by now my fries were cold and my friend who I was supposed to be eating with had half way finished. This was very none...
