1 star?? Where do I start?? Myself, wife and our 2 boys stopped at this location for dinner. Figured its something reasonably quick since our boys are 2 and it's already after 6pm.
We walked in and waited to be seated...and waited. After 5 mins and the handful of employees, one finally said "I'll be right with you".
We sit down and order the boys food first. The young man who took care of us seemed newer to the restaurant world. He kept asking us to repeat ourselves just so he understood. Which was fine.
Our boys food came out, the sauce was supposed to be on the side and it wasn't. The boys tried it with the sauce and didn't care for it. Fine, no problem. We ordered something else.
Waited another 15 mins and the young man came back. My wife and I ordered the boneless wings with fries and I ordered chicken tenders and fries. The young man again had us repeat ourselves, again no problem.
The place wasn't really bust. We seen the young man doing things like restocking the ice and waiting on other tables. His coworkers worked their tables and proceeded to hang out at the break wall by the pop machine.
Just leaning on it and hanging out. After about 20 mins we started wondering where the young man was? He came back to the table after we asked someone at the break wall, "can you find our server"?
The young man came back and headed back go the computer system. Him and 2 others were re-entering our order again. The young man came back and said sorry and should be out soon.
Waited another 15 mins and seen others get their food before us. Our boys finished the French fries and we were hoping to give some of our food to please them. 2 toddlers that are hungry and were ggoing to bed soon, isn't fun for hanging out at a restaurant forever.
We finally flagged a person down and told them we wanted to cancel our order and wanted to pay for the 2 kids meals that we did get. The girl had taken care of the bill by taking off the tenders and boneless wings we didn't get. Not sure if she reprimanded the young man or not. I couldn't hear the conversation.
But the girl came back and said "ok guys, you're all set. Have a good one"? It's like I'm sure we would've if we had a chance to eat the food we ordered a half hour ago.
Needless to say that this review isn't to bash the restaurant. I'm hoping to provide feedback for improvement.
The young man, its not his fault. He either wasn't properly trained or he was hired that day. Regardless, he atleast acknowledged us and tried.
The other staff members seemed to be laser focused on the table or two they had. Still found time to hang out at the break wall. Which by, lives up to its name.
They could've at least helped the young man out by checking in on him. "Hey, are you good? What do you need?" I'm sure he was scared to ask.
Then the manager? Not sure where they were. Not sure if they're in the kitchen or where ever. But the employees just running a table or two, need more attention to. Why should one person run several tables and find time to do other things. You have folks at the wall and not doing anything extra? Not acknowledging folks when...
Read moreMy wife and I have been to this location twice in the past week.
We had stopped in after shopping at the local home improvement stores to relax and get a couple of drinks and appetizers.
We seated ourselves in the bar area and had to wait a little bit to get service, but it was understandable because it appeared as though the bartender was working the area by herself and had several customers seated at the actual bar as well.
Once making contact with us, the bartender was very attentive to our needs and provided us excellent service.
This experience was enjoyable and we left satisfied customers. I believe that this was on a Monday afternoon.
Less than a week later on Sunday, we had returned to the home improvement store and upon leaving, decided to stop back at BW3s for a quick bite to eat and some drinks.
Upon walking into the hostess area, we encountered a family who appeared to be waiting to be seated. They informed us that they were advised by restaurant staff that it would be a 15 - 20 minute wait until they could be seated because it was shift change. Shift change? Really?
Looking around the restaurant there was more than plenty of seating available and the number of patrons already seated was not excessive.
It is very understandable to have a wait when the restaurant is at capacity for seating or they are extremely busy. Neither of these scenarios appeared to be the case in this instance.
Having proper coverage during a changing of the guard is a must when you have paying customers wanting to be seated, as well as customers already seated and expecting to be tended to.
Needless to say, we didn’t hang out while shift change was being conducted. Instead we went to the Mexican restaurant directly across the street, which might I add was an excellent experience. We surely had our drinks and a basket of chips and salsa on our table before the family waiting was even seated.
This is a management issue that needs to be looked into.
B-Dubs has always been a go to spot for us while we are out and about.
The silver lining in this review is that we found a hidden gem in the Azteca Mexican restaurant because we opted to not waste our time waiting for the most ridiculous...
Read moreSaid food be ready 8:15. Left there at 8:45pm. Still missing items. But was just frustrated. Got yelled at by host about giving me wrong order then he said not his fault 2 of the same first names. Why not check lasts names. I had to open my app to show him my order after telling him that wasn't mine because didn't want to handle someone else's food. He was furious. He brought out another order. Blazing sauce was on my 9 year olds son boneless and I mentioned I do Apologive but it says sauce on side not tossed. He says "why can't your son just eat them like this!" I was in shock. He then knocked over the bag that had items and says your just going to have to wait so they can fix it. I calmly said that was fine. He comes out snarling at me like it was my fault and didn't show me the items in the bag. I politely asked if the blazing was in the bag and he says yes. So I start to check and he takes the bag and counts 2. I paid for 3 plus one on the side for the boneless. He tossed them in the bag and I asked him if the ranch is there. He said yes. Counted and gave me less ranch then I ordered. He furiously said " YOU KNOW WHAT? HERE, your going to mess up inventory but take it.!" Are you serious?? He was overwhelmed . I get it. I didn't bother checking anything else. I paid $55 dollars plus 7$ tip and got home to cold food. Hard wings, and missing 10 boneless and a large fry. Love bdubs but to pay that much and get treated like that, food missing, hard cold traditional wings. I'm sorry but very upsetting. Being a manager myself. He either needs retrained or needs to find a job more away from communicating and is supposed to be making sure customers leave happy and with a...
