I have a couple gripes about this restaurant: They’re taking advantage of costumers utilizing Uber Eats and other convenience services, that make their restaurant far more accessible to more people via ordering and delivering, by price gouging. For example, their menu lists Lo Mein as $12, but on Uber Eats it’s $14.25. I’ve noticed most restaurants do this, usually it’s around $.50. Maki’s $2.25 for this item is a significant jump and I believe quality’s as a gouge. Their accepting orders is hit and miss. I’ve ordered and they’ve accepted the order and cancelled it 15-20 minutes later. I ordered a large order today, it was for $100 worth of food, and had 10 Philadelphia rolls. They said they were out of them and unable to make them. I don’t believe this to be true because I ordered a more expensive version of the Philadelphia roll as well but they didn’t cancel this, I believe they just didn’t want to make that many rolls.

My husband tipped our first visit and I didn’t tip my second time due to the horrible service . The server took that personal and already was out to get my husband and I our third time in the restaurant. Read moreOn February 16th at 12pm I got an ordered delivered by Door dash. I ordered an eel roll and 2 combinations dinner. When I opened my eel roll it had two little tiny pieces of what I THOUGHT was hair so I called the restaurant to try and resolve this. They told me maybe my dasher opened my container instead of taking accountability. I was told to call and have door dash resolve my issue and there wasn’t a manager there in the store today. I found this completely unacceptable and will no longer be dining here as they weren’t not two pieces of hair at all they were two tiny pieces of PLASTIC in which I could have coked on if I didn’t spot it in time.
