I always enjoyed "Long John Silvers " before the Pandemic..had eaten there several times a month..because it was an easy fix to seafood craving.without preparing it myself ,and alot faster..even if you had to wsit..it was worth it. Fish platter or Shrimp / Fish platter were my favorite..cole slaw, fries green beans, Corn & the hush puppies not t forget the ice Sweet Tea.. So imagine during the Pandemic Covid-19..most places were closing or closed..when I found out the only place I felt made a great seafood platter with door,or curbside..open.. Let me interject that 🌟Arthur Treachers@ Great Lakes Mall was the Best..when any of our family visits from out of state they always ask about Arthur Treacher's..#1 & Mr. CHICKEN.. But. I digress.. Since January -July of 2021,I have visited Long John Silvers atleast (6) times..each time hoping that I would be able to once again enjoy seafood meal a delight.. I know we can have an isolated off day..not sure what the issue is at Long John Silvers..but greasy fish shrimp fries..small1/4 cup Cole slaw or whatever sides were offered or not even included (once you got home is when you notice it.) $3.00 for a beverage.. I do not quibble about paying more for a meal that has been properly prepared & presented..but I had to use the napkins to soak up the Grease from the fish shrimp & hush puppies..they forgot the fries.. food was just too greasy..put in the box nothing to absorb it. My feeling was a it showed a lack of integrity.. Or maybe better training in how to prepare and present an appetizing meal.. So,why do I keep going there? My memory of when it was; thinking it will be better then the last time? just that..Hoping it will be better than last time.. Maybe I need to just start cooking at home.. and say Goodbye to fast food eateries in general..because its not the increase prices for food & service but lack of integrity often witnessed at some places( not just Long John's ) I could say quality & quantity at other places has also changed.. by the amount of food that gets thrown in the garbage..could that be why the Raccoon's are so voracious ( aggressive) plump and have populated our neighborhoods!?!😳 This is just my ( personal) opinion..Do not eat out often..this was to have been a special treat.. If your experience has been different from...

Upon entering two other customers were waiting for their orders and attempting to receive substitutions for sides that were not available. I was advised that they were out of hush puppies, rice, and green beans. Once the cashier finally got to me, I told her I was here for a pickup order in which they told me the same. All of the items they were out of and so on. We were advised we can receive either double fries or double coleslaw. I asked what can be substituted for the hush puppies or sides since none of us customers eat corn or wanted double of any item. The lady next to me asked to see a manager which was not fulfilled. After all of this, about 10 minutes of going back and forth with the staff while each customer service member was covering their face, huffing and puffing, and saying they should have been gone 30 minutes ago, the manager finally appeared. In which she discovered that my order had been sitting on the rack this entire time already done and now sweating! I was completely dissatisfied with my service, they're unprofessional conduct, and they're unwillingness to help and satisfy the customers. I probably will never visit this location again due to this horrible experience especially since I didn't even have to endure any of it knowing that my order had been sitting there this...

Our first time in Cleveland, and since Long John Silver's is a fast food option, I had to try it again - it's been years since I last ate at this chain. The inside of the place is larger than it seems from looking at the exterior. Counterperson Elena was very polite and helpful with ordering. Place was not busy for lunch so we were lucky as more people started to arrive after we ordered. I got the fish sandwich meal (came with a side of fries and a small fountain drink) and my husband got the chicken and fish with onion rings and hushpuppies. Total was about $35 with tip. Drink cup and top is provided to you and you serve yourself your own fountain drink. This location only serves Pepsi products, so I settled for a Starry (rebranded 7Up?) which is the equivalent of the taste of Sprite (lemon-lime soda).
Takeout order was finished in about 15 minutes and was 100% correct. Everything was crispy and cooked well. My husband said his fish was a bit on the oily side, but my fish sandwich was just right. This hit the right spot for my fish n' chips fix. Parking lot has limited spaces, but had several spots open...
