Paradise Frappe in Meriden makes frappes, smoothies, milkshakes, natural juices, limbers and the ever popular Dubai chocolate in cheesecake, or frappes!

From opening to close, this place is busy. When I arrived, a lady leaving had a tray of 4 cups and said that she had to wait an hour for hers. I had about a 30-minute wait from the minute I walked in, waiting in line, ordering and getting the goods. I think that's reasonable. Before leaving, the owner said that they've ran out of strawberries and her husband went to get more. I believe that this may have happened throughout the afternoon. I would suggest ordering directly from the supplier and not the grocery store.

I had the Dubai Strawberries and Cheesecake priced at $30, Dubai Frappe $15 and Dubai Cheesecake $14. Although the cost was hefty, it was all delicious! I also had the pleasure of taking the cheesecake in a heart tin! It was an absolute delight! This was an add-on special for Valentine's Day!

There are 2 tables with 2 chairs each on either side of the room if available. There’s also an egg chair and a bench for use if not already being used by people waiting for orders. It gets really busy and very packed so likely not any room to really sit and eat.

I haven’t even been here yet but I’m giving them 5 stars because all these 1 start reviews just because they had to wait are ridiculous! If you got upset because this isn’t fast food like McDonald’s or Burger King then you seriously have issues. There’s people saying that they should prep ahead of time or do this or do that hey how about you open up your own place and do that then! I hate seeing bad reviews for the stupidest things. Like how are you gonna say the place was clean and service was great but then give them a 1 star review because they took long to make your frappe which is made fresh from scratch?! 🤦🏻‍♂️ like seriously grow up! What’s even worse is the ones that have been there multiple times and didn’t leave a review any of those times when everything was good but then as soon as they go and a little mistake happens then they want to leave a review and complain and give them one star! So this shop I've heard to be all the rage was definitely an interesting experience. I had came here for the infamous Dubai chocolate strawberries! I had driven all the way from Providence Rhode Island, which was an hour and a half drive and a 2 hour wait for my order... Now the quality, cleanliness, and freshness of my order were great absolutely no complaints there whatsoever, now the overall work ethic and organization were chaotic. Now the worker had ran out of ingredients which should never happen even if it's a product that's ordered a lot there should always be extra ingredients just in case the original amount run out always!! So that was definitely the most disappointing thing about my order, as far as waiting, it was packed inside and the wait time was excruciating for something that can easily be made at home. This was a decent experience but never again for me, homemade is definitely a better option to avoid using $22 on a single cup.
