KFC — Restaurant in Meriden

I have NEVER had such poor service in my life. The lobby was not closed so I went in for 2 sandwiches to go, a simple order. One customer was in front of me. I waited at least 10 minutes before anyone came to the counter. Finally, this person, who was also filling the first customer's order, came to the counter with the food. She then told me she'd be right back and went to prepare more ingredients. There were 5 other employees working. When my order was given, a different employee told me it would be 5 minutes. As I waited, all of the employees consulted and discussed their schedule and then disappeared, with the exception of the woman at the drive thru window. One young man asked if my order had been taken. I said yes. After 7 or 8 minutes, I asked the drive thru person if she could check on my order. Another woman came back and prepared the sandwiches with the chicken the young man had put in the oven as he spoke to me. No organization or communication. I felt completely ignored and unappreciated. Meanwhile, the lobby hadn't been cleaned so I am not sure what these people were...

On 7/26/23 at 11:15am we arrived at KFC to purchase a VERY large order of chicken for our church event that day. We spoke to the cashier and stated what we needed I politely attempted to say hello. I shook the cashiers hand. She said she don’t shake hands. We explained to her that we need 160 pieces of chicken.

She said she has to call her manager. She called her manager. Her manager said no, we will not serve you. I didn’t know if it was a race thing. I don’t know if it was due to me being a black American or a deacon in a church. I was highly offended. The cashier at the drive-through asked Us are we serious about purchasing that amount of chicken? We replied yes.

We were going to pay the money at the point of sale. After she said we’re not going to serve you we left politely and that’s why I am posting this review on the KFC review site, I don’t normally do this, but based on the very, very poor lack of customer service, and how we felt that we were discriminated based on our religion as being Christians was very offensive to us. The person that took my order in the drive thru was so nice! His attitude was so welcoming!!

This timeeeee, the customer service was pretty much terrible. I went to the drive-through to pick up a order, which I was told was not done before I even gave a name and to come inside I go inside and there is no line yet I am still standing at the register for five minutes while employees walk past me then I get asked what my name is and magically. They just pull up my order already ready like the bag was sealed already. and I was given my order with no problem and left, but the customer service was terrible even if my order was not ready when I went to the drive-through I should have at least been able to give my name so they could tell me it’s not ready personally and not just giving a general answer

Another terrible review, went to the window… got two of everything but the nuggets, went back to say hey I only got one nugget… the. Was given a hard time… I couldn’t find my receipt but I was literally JUST there, not gonna lie...
