Disappointing Experience at Wendy's: A Review of Lousy Service
My recent visit to Wendy's left much to be desired. The Dave's Single Cheeseburger I ordered for lunch was not just cold, but shockingly so – as if it had been neglected for hours. It was so repulsive that I had to discard it after a single bite. While the fries managed to retain some warmth, they lacked the expected crispiness.
The service was abysmal. Employees seemed more interested in idle chatter than attending to customers with any semblance of urgency. The ketchup station was particularly appalling, with flies buzzing around, presenting a clear hygiene concern. Even if one dared to use the ketchup, the impractical setup forced patrons to unwrap their food first.
This dismal experience was not an isolated incident. Just two weeks prior, my daughter's lunch at the same Wendy's ended in disappointment. Half of her order was missing, and her burger was raw to the point of being practically frozen in the middle. Upon seeking a refund, she was met with hostility from management, who cited her use of Apple Pay through the app as grounds for refusal.
Regrettably, this Wendy's location has tarnished the legacy of its founder, Dave Thomas. I vow never to return, and I caution others against risking a foodborne illness or enduring such appalling service. It's disheartening to witness a once-reputable chain descend into such disarray. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this particular Wendy's...
Read more"Wendy's Breakfast Wins" This will be a bit of a learning curve for the Wendy's employees to perfect the new breakfast venture. But once they have everything dialed in, I am certain that they will have the best breakfast out of the Big 4. Dunkin breakfast sandwiches are fake and disgusting. Burger King's aren't much better. McD's uses fresh cracked eggs on only the McMuffin sandwiches. The biscuit sandwiches have fake eggs. As long as Wendy's sticks to the plan of using fresh cracked eggs on all of their sandwiches, they're guaranteed to claim the top spot. The only flaw I experienced was that I ordered the Classic Sausage, Egg and cheese combo and I received the Classic Bacon, Egg and cheese combo. The little bun was soft and fresh. The fresh cracked egg was nicely cooked. The bacon was crisp. And the cheese was completely melted on the sandwich. The homefries are more of a well seasoned steak fry. But none the less, very tasty. The hash browns at the other three are oily, fowl tasting, and inedible. In my opinion, Wendy's wins with...
Read moreI live 2 minutes away from this place in East Meriden and I usually visit this place during the weeks at nights cause of the bussy week and rush evenings because I have no time to cook dinner. But I do not know what is going on there that since a while ago it's been very crowded inside and drive thru. Last time, about a week ago I decides to go thru the drive thru and the car line almost surrounded the restaurant, I literally was 45 minutes in the line and when I got my order it was missing a lot of food like it is usually happening lately. Today I visited again and I went inside the restaurant, it was crowded and again my order was missing a lot of food when I got home. I suggest to the person in charge of this location to visit it at nights during the week. It is a nightmare... The management is terrible, there is NO organization and I always get my order incomplete... Sad because my kids and myself love Wendy's food, the only fast food we...
