Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Meridian Charter Township

I ordered my food on my way into work the other day. It arrived a few mins before I did and the driver (from what I was told) seemed to have an attatude when he arrived after being told I wasn't there yet, he said "I need her to sign the slip and Tip me". My co worker signed the slip for him and gave him a dollar even though she wasn't impressed by him demanding I tipped him. I'm disappointed in him leaving a bad impression on a newly opened store. You DON'T ask/demand a tip... if he had said that to me I wouldn't of tipped him at all and told him a few select words how I felt about it. The service is always great, everyone I’ve encountered is very friendly and gets food quickly.

My problem is with the food. I always regret it. We hadn’t eaten here in over a year and my son begged to go. We gave it another chance and it definitely still upset my stomach. Then the smell of Jimmy John’s lingers on your hands (despite multiple washings) and clothes.

Both my son and I love Pesto…I ordered a couple pesto sides and I don’t think I’m ever going to be able to eat it again. My son looked up horrified and said the after taste tastes like mucus. He wasn’t wrong. It has completely ruined any pesto since.

I tried to place order from Okemos location (on Grand River) at 10:30pm. I live literally a half-mile down the road btw. They told me they could not deliver (even though open & delivering until midnight). Referred me to Hagadorn location. Hagadorn location closed at 10pm. Call bounced to MSU location, who told me to call Okemos location. I called Okemos back. They referred me to place my order on the app. Same thing, referred to Okemos. I called again Okemos & explained that I am trying to give them business. They straight up said no. I do love Jimmy Johns, but it is not worth dealing with such horrible customer service!
