Arby's — Restaurant in Meridian

Arby's used to be one of my favorite places to go. I haven't been able to go for about a year now because of health reasons. But I went there today, and I have to say that I was very disappointed.

The lady at the counter who took my order was very nice. No complaints there. But the food was substandard.

The chicken sandwich was very bland. The curly fries were mostly overcooked end pieces. And the place wasn't very clean. I had to get some napkins to clean my table off with. The drink machine was leaking and was almost full to the top of the catch tray under it. There was water coming out from under the rug in front of the drink station. Probably from where the drip tray had overflowed.

I was just disappointed. And I was so excited when I got there. I actually made a bicycle trip from over by Highland Park just to go. Because my eyes have got too bad for me to drive. But I'm not sure I'll be going back again after this experience.

Edit: I filled out the form from the "response from owner" like was requested with my address and email. I was promised a free meal coupon at the end of the form. 8 months later, never received...

They claim to open at 10 a.m. but we waited until 10:30 a.m. and it was still not open. Poor management. I will not return and will tell everyone I know to not visit the location on frontage road in Meridian. Came all the way out of Newton county specifically to eat at Arby's. Very very disappointed. Only gave one star because you have to give a star to review. Would have given zero stars if I could have.

Since posting, I have been in touch with the General Manager. He has spoken to his employees and staff and then called me. My dad and I have returned to this same location and eaten since. Of course, we came early and the location was open with friendly employees there to greet us. The food was good and hot. There is something to be desired about the dining room. Was really excited to eat here as I do not have one in my hometown, but was quickly deterred by careless and rude employees and the wrong order. Sat at the speaker for close to 5 minutes before a rude employee came over and had an attitude as I ordered. I had ordered the limited edition wings and fries and chose the hot honey flavor, but was given the buffalo flavor instead. I was as nice to the employee as I could be, but she had the snobbiest attitude. When I asked for ranch, she acted as if I was the biggest burden on earth. Wish I could give 0 stars honestly. Told my husband that we could have gotten better service at McDonald’s and would have already known our order would have been wrong there instead of being given a false...
