These guys have earned 5 stars and then some!
We've ordered before through DoorDash and everything was fine, but tonight for some reason DoorDash transmitted the Calzone order as a pizza (much to our dismay when it arrived). A quick call to them and they were happy to make it right, on the spot. If you're going to order, just call direct and forego the extra fees and costs of DoorDash/etc.
Everyone was super friendly and the calzone was DEFINITELY worth driving to the place to have it made.
I've yet to be disappointed with what they have to offer and everything was really delicious. I've lived all over - North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and California... this place is definitely a hidden gem of local pizza places. The ingredients are great, the dough is fresh and not frozen - something you just can't say about the chain restaurants that offer "fresh" pizza.
Seriously. If you're on the fence, you won't regret making the decision to go all-in! The prices are great and I'm seriously pleased with how good the food is.
To the owner(s) and manager(s): you guys definitely have a good thing here and the two people working tonight, May 23, deserve a pat on the back for good service and workmanship. I ordered a gluten free pizza tonight. I opened the box and couldn’t believe my eyes. It was golden brown, and didn’t look like baked cardboard. It was fluffy. I was skeptical and honestly afraid to try since gluten is not kind to my digestive system. I double checked my order and indeed ordered a gluten free pizza. So I decided to take a bite. SO GOOD! The crust was crispy and had an amazing texture. I stopped eating to call Johnnys because I couldn’t believe my eyes and my taste buds. I was certain there was a mistake and they gave me a regular pizza. Johnny’s told me it was indeed gluten free and they had changed their gluten free crust a few weeks back. I’m so impressed! I won’t eat any other gluten free pizza, this is the best I’ve ever had! Great job guys! Your gluten free pizza is the best in town! Hands down! I’m so happy lol...
