Island Coffee and Smoothies — Restaurant in Merritt Island

I'm writing in hopes that the owner of this establishment will see this. I was there today just before 2:00 pm with my family because we just found out that you sell Indian River Coffee by the bag. We were very excited to purchase a couple of pounds here on the island since we usually drive to Melbourne weekly to get our favorite coffee. I stepped up to the counter that had no line and was not greeted by the young lady at the register where she sat, unoccupied. When I inquired about the coffee beans, she scowled and gestured to the sample bag on the counter without speaking. I then inquired further about price to which she replied "I'm trying to figure it out!", as she shook her head and rolled her eyes. Once she "figured out" the price, I then inquired about the size of the bag. She did not know how many ounces were in a bag of coffee sold by your business. Unfortunately, due to this uninformed, rude young lady, our plans to purchase one to two bags of coffee a week at Island Coffee and Smoothies have been cancelled. We would rather continue to drive to Melbourne where we are treated respectfully by well informed staff. I hope this review will bring about some extra training for your staff in customer service. I wanted a coffee that was suggested on my the board “peppermint mocha & whip”. I was charged $2.00 extra from advertised price of large latte of $6..30. I asked why and was told I had ordered extra flavors “peppermint & mocha”. I told her that on the board it showed that those two flavors & whip came all together. She said no and then said I was the only person who had asked that. I told her it was misleading. So she abruptly grabbed the board & put comma’s between the words. I did try to cancel the order but it was too late. The girl now was very perturbed . She abruptly put my cup down and it was luke warm (ordered extra hot) I lifted the lid and no “whip”. If I could give it a 0 I would. My elder aunt bought 4 bananas for $4.00, cashier took money, we looked at them they were over ripe and a couple opened on ends. We told her about it and she said that was all she had. So we asked her for the $ back, the bananas had not moved from the counter .... she said no refund. Exchange ? no exchange... beside she said she only had over ripe bananas. AND then we had to ask for a bag so we didnt have to carry these over ripe items around.
