I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mediterranean Gourmet located in the Merritt Square Mall, and I was absolutely delighted with the experience. The owner is the heart of this establishment, greeting customers with warmth and a personal touch that instantly makes you feel at home.

One of the highlights of my visit was undoubtedly the cheese steak sandwich. It was a marvel, perfectly balancing the ratio of cheese to steak, ensuring every bite was as satisfying as the last. The roll, soft, durable, and warm, seemed like an authentic Amoroso roll, which held up beautifully without detracting from the fillings.

The french fries were another standout, seasoned to perfection and offering a deliciously pleasant taste that lingered in my mouth long after the meal was over. It's clear that attention to detail and quality ingredients are priorities here.

Don't get confused by the looks of the mall. This is a family restaurant that serves really delicious and fresh dishes. The food here is amazingly good. Authentic Greek and Mediterranean dishes at great portions and fair prices.

The service goes above and beyond! I always feel like a part of their family when I pass by, order for dinning in or to-go.

They're desserts are also made fresh by them, and the baklava is my favorite!

I ordered the 6.99 gyro special. He kept pointing to the 10.00 special. - I literally held up the 6.99 special sign and pointed at it. When he rang me up, it was 8.50. I pointed at the sign and he said ‘tax’. Do the math on that. The sandwich was good and I wanted to go back and make that my new Greek place. I’m just extremely disappointed that he lied and stole from me. Cheating with tax is also a crime. I could have called him out on it, and asked for a receipt, but it wasn’t worth the effort.
