Besides the fact that we sat in the driveway for over 15 minutes for a small fry, 6 chicken tenders and an order of zucchini, the person running the driver thru wasn't sure if they discontinued an item we inquired about, but they failed to complete our order as requested. My mom (driver/payor) requested they fry her zucchini "crispy". She specifically asked that they be cooked longer to reached her desired preference. When the order was finally ready against her better judgement she pulled off; assuming that her order had been prepared as requested. Once on the highway, I prepped her order for consuming while driving. As soon as I pulled her order out she could tell that the zucchini was not cooked as requested. Rather than go back we continued on our way returning to the restaurant after our errands were completed. My mom really wanted the zucchini so rather than request a refund she requested a new order. The manager apologized and offered a double order of zucchini on them! The manager delegated preparation to another individual by asking her to drop the zucchini and advised of the special request. After 5 minutes had passed the manager inquired to the cook if the order was ready and she declined. She never dropped the zucchini. Somehow the cook didn't hear the order request twice!! With that said it took 15 minutes to cook an order of zucchini! I appreciate that Carl's Jr. cooks their food to order. I'm frustrated that they can't seem to ever get the orders right, that the food is so expensive, and that the wait is always extensive. Our cashier, who's name I don't know because she wasn't wearing a name tag and she was obviously on someone named Kevin's register because that's the name on the receipt, acted like we were inconveniencing her by my husband taking a minute to decide what he wanted. When we told her to go ahead and take care of the person behind us, she said "I can't. I've already started your order." REALLY? A cashier that can't void an order? So, he ordered and then decided to add to it. This same cashier looked at him and said "are you going to order something else or just stand up here and wait on your food?" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? We're paying customers, we're not asking for free food! She then yells out our order, I check it and if course it's wrong. I then tell them that was the shittiest service I've ever gotten and we leave. I decide to go back in and get another bag because the food was literally just thrown in, with things spilling out on top of each other. I guess they weren't counting on me speaking Spanish because when I walked back in, what I heard was them laughing and saying some pretty disrespectful things! This same cashier had the audacity to say they didn't bag my food like that, I DID IT when I checked the order! So I had her rebag it,and guess what? She threw it in there THE EXACT SAME WAY!! After a bit I finally order one thing and she's ready for me to pay, but I have several other things to order, I tell her, she either doesn't understand me or is purposely and rudely telling me the price of the one thing I did order over and over. Finally I get it through to her I'm not done ordering, she rolls her eyes and rudely says "what else". I show her a coupon I want to use and she says you have to cut it out, I ask if she Has some scissors. She rolls her eyes and says no. Then she hands me a utility knife with the razor out razor first. Then she stares me down like I'm her evil stepchild. And that's when I decide. I am not eating here. Then I get in my car and I decide, I'm gonna leave a review, and I'm never, ever coming back here. As the food has been pretty sub par everytime before anyway.
