I have been frequenting this Chilis for a few years now since covid and since I was diagnosed with cancer. I do not dine in as I am on active treatment for cancer, and I am immunocompromised, so we stick to curbside pick-up. When we ordered our food on 10/16/2022 and picked it up on this particular day, we noticed we were missing a few items when we got home. I was missing one of my shrimp tacos, my side order of loaded mashed potatoes ( they put an empty container inside my order), my wife's order was not made on how it was supposed to be ordered, we were missing our jalapenos and cheese on our fries, and my daughter was missing her side order of broccoli for her kid's order.
I called the restaurant, spoke with the manager Juan I believe, and stated my concern and the issues with my order. He told me to come on down, and he would make it right. So instead of remaking the whole order, he only replaced the missing items (bare in mind that 40- 50 minutes had passed, and the food was now cold). I had asked him to return the whole order, but it was getting late, and I wanted to sit down and eat with my family. He became very snippy and short, and rude. He was verbally abusive to his staff. His team remade the order, stating it would take about 10 15 minutes; this took about 30-40 minutes. I rechecked the order and went home, and we finally ate.
Later in the evening, my wife, daughter, and I started to feel sick; we had massive diarrhea, vomiting, and just downright not feeling well. I think the food was not handled correctly as retaliatory measures because I was concerned with the initial order. I will not be returning because of your manager's rudeness, lack of customer service and soft skills, and abusive nature...
Read moreWatch out! They are rationing the food with to go orders!!!
If you dine in they will give you the right amount of everything but lately if you order to go you'll be lucky to get half of a normal dine in order. A little sad considering they are the same price dine in vs takeout. Dine in is better quality all around, something changed in the to go order quality about 4-6 months ago, I've given them several opportunities to redeem themselves but they drop the ball consistently on to go orders.
Advice: Dine in. Don't order to go from this location. 5/11/2020 - Downgraded from 3/5 to 1/5
They were doing really well after COVID closed everything with their to-go orders, now they're either getting lazy and complacent not even two months later. The sauces are half-filled, the chicken is miscounted, like how do you sell to-go food and not fill up the sauces in each cup. It's not like it's 1 cup either, out of the 6 sauce cups, 3 of them were only filled 1/3 the way. You know how hard it is to miscount chicken in a 5-piece chicken entree? How do you get 2 out of 3 orders wrong on the count for chicken? 4 pieces of chicken is not 5, just stay away from this location if you're eating to-go.
You ask for silverware and napkins with your order? Too bad, they don't care. You pay extra money for sauce? They used to put it in an actual cup, but now they just fill up a little tiny side sauce half way and take your money without thinking twice. You want 5 pieces of chicken with your order like it's supposed to come with? They hire people who can't count. Good luck on your Chili's adventure.
I should have taken my own advice the first time. Ordering for your family for to-go? Go...
Read moreSeriously, I don't know why we keep giving Chili's a chance. Where to even begin. With the chips and salsa, I suppose. There were nine of us and they put two long tables together into a huge square. We ordered the bottomless chips and salsa and they brought out one bowl of chips and one bowl of salsa. 🙄 We mentioned it to the runner who brought it but nothing was done. We mentioned it to our server. Nothing. Finally the manager helped carry beverages and we asked him about the chips. Suddenly they brought out two more bowls, so that all of us might enjoy some chips and salsa. And we did. Their chips and salsa are yummy.
Next was the service. They were busy and we were having fun, so we didn't really care that it was slow, but it was, especially with drink orders and refills. The thing we did not appreciate is that they never did bring out one adult's order and our server hardly ever came to our table, so we had to wait a long time to ask about it. It was hot and fresh when it finally arrived, but they still charged us for it even though it was SO late that it had to go home because we were done with the rest of our food. Rude.
The thing that actually kicked it for me was when we had to deal with the little Ziosk at the end. The process was fine, although honestly, they should have comped that one plate, but when I got to the tip screen, the waitress came very close to me and stood over me. It was intimidating. I gave her a 20% tip, which is actually lower than our usual rate, but she and her crew did a fairly awful job and warranted more like 15%. At least she said thank you... in my ear....
