I've been coming to this place for 12+ years and I keep saying that I will never come back. The food use to be amazing but in the last 3 years thr smell of sewage has become overpowering to where you can't even smell your food unless it's up to your nose. The windows have not been cleaned in over 3 years it looks like. Cleanliness of the cups and dishes are horrible. If only they would take a 3 gallon bucket of hot water and 1 cup of bleach and pour down every drain on the floor in the bathrooms and kitchen and throughout every place they have a drain, the smell would go away. But good luck to that since these people don't care for having a clean place. You can only imagine how clean the dishes are that your food was prepared in. This place shouldn't charge more than $7 since you feel like your eating next to your toilet. They say they serve crab legs but it's only a handful every 2 hrs. So if your in line at the front waiting, you may get lucky and be one of very few to see any. The Price is not worth the poor quality of crab legs they serve. I'm sorry to see this place go so far down hill. It's officially...
Read moreThis is by far the best Chinese buffet in the Eastern Valley area. We have been coming here for the past 4 years that we have lived in Phoenix. The restaurant has had its ups and downs but it has improved dramatically over the past year. If you have been here in the past and found it not to be to your liking give it a second chance I'm sure you'll be very impressed they have signs posted where the temperature and the refresh of the food is now posted within 2 hours and the food quality is much better the ice cream is no longer in a machine it is now in Dixie Cups and in a freezer so the person that said the ice cream was running and the person that was run out of the restaurant well I don't know what you did but if you were run out of the restaurant there was probably a good reason. We are on good speaking terms with the management the food is excellent the selection is marvelous the prices are excellent and occasionally you will find a coupon. This is by far the best Chinese buffet in the East Valley of Phoenix and we have tried several. This is why they call it the Number 1...
Read moreMeh... The smell of the restaurant as we walked in was off-putting and it took a while for anyone to greet and seat us. Much of the food at the buffet looked like it had been sitting under the lamps far too long, and I was afraid to try much of it. The choices I did make, i.e. noodles, fried rice, and what appeared to be Sesame Chicken lacked flavor, and the chicken was way overcooked and unchewable. The orange chicken was better and chewable. To be honest, I lost my appetite at the appearance and taste of most of my food. So when all else fails, you head over to the desserts which looked tasty. I only tried the chocolate pudding and tapioca pudding, so it ended on a good note. We had a group of 8. A few people mentioned it was "just alright". My daughter specifically said it was terrible. I understand in today's economy it's not easy in this type of business, but this restaurant should focus on quality over quantity. They had far too many choices, many that appeared untouched and perhaps unsafe, in my opinion. In addition, their restrooms were not clean, which is also...
