Good ice cream but terrible customer service. My friend and I ordered a large container of ColdStone from Uber Eats. When it arrived it was half empty. Looking at the sides of the container we realized it was never full. The workers only half way filled the order. We scooped out what was in there and realized even part of the bottom was hollow. The mix ins were not fully mixed in. I had a piece of cookie dough that was larger than my spoon. I have never ordered ice cream from this Cold Stone so I was very disappointed. I wrote in to ColdStone to let them correct the mistake. I understand people make mistakes but I am a full believer of admitting the mistake and taking responsibility. Well, that never happened. I received a call from the manager and called back I did not leave a voicemail and decided to call back the next day. I called back and left a message. I waited a week and half and still never got a call back. So I called back again and left another message. That was two weeks ago and that is where this story will end. Yes they have good ice cream. Its expensive and a nice treat. However, if you have a problem you'll be in trouble because ColdStone doesn't care.
Update: I had posted another email to the Customer Service Department on April 9th. It's May 6th and I haven't heard from them. I tried calling and after waiting half an hour I got the message that they were having technical issues and the line disconnected. I sent another email again today because now I'm curious how many times do you have to contact Cold Stone before they respond. I'll keep you updated since we know ColdStone has...
Read moreI have doordashed cold stone several times now, my order has always been perfect and I’ve never had any issues. I typically don’t leave reviews but with this incident I had to. I had my usual night, watch tv and order cold stone, i am allergic to nuts and on this night, I noticed a pecan at the top of my ice cream, i scooped it off along with the surrounding ice cream, had a bite and thought I was good, I ended up finding more pecan pieces in an order that does not nor has ever contained nuts, I ended up having an allergic reaction, I wasn’t able to eat my order except for a bite so I wanted to request a refund for the issue. I tried calling the store, no answer, waited a few hours and tried again, still no answer. Within several hours I had called the store 5 times and still no answer. I waited till the next day, called when they opened and still no answer. I went into the store, asked for a manager but the employee said they weren’t at the store, so I told her the issue. She said she would take down my number and give it to her manager, she said she would text him that moment and let him know what happened to see what we could get worked out, I have still yet to receive a call from the manager or have any kind of...
Read moreWas in the mood for ice cream when I got there, but was no longer in the mood after I paid. When I tried to pay, the clerk would not take my $100 bill. I was told they don't take anything bigger than a 20. When I asked her why she said that too many fake hundreds get passed there. My reply was with a little training they would be able to tell if the bill was legit. I had to get in the car and drive to the closest place where I could change it which was frys. My opinion is the only reason a bill could get passed there is laziness. They would rather inconvenience the customer then train their employees on how to spot a counterfeit bill. I worked in printing for 35 years and it is very easy to spot a counterfeit. With inflation as high as it is, 100 dollar bills are in use now more than ever. Cold Stone needs to train their employees on how to spot counterfeit money so that hard-working Americans can spend their money there. Until they do, I'll spend my money on Tillamook and...
