FRUTILANDIA — Restaurant in Mesa

This is my new go to place for Date Nights. The food is fresh. The dessert selection out of this world awesome. The best part is that they let you taste the different flavors of ice cream before you finalize your order. My burger was thick and loaded up with fresh Tomato and red onion. The fries were thick and crinkled cut. The ambiance is modern and fun. I love the seating outside surrounded by bougainvillea and lantana blossoms. Inside seating is available and there are many places provided to charge your devices (laptops & cell phones)

I loved that there is handi cap parking, with a ramp up to get in. The doors are not automatic but a handle that is easy for wheel chaired patrons can is in place. There is one door for entry and the right is reserved for exiting. Once you make your order, there is large lounge couch waiting area right up front. You are give a number then when your order is ready the counter will call your number. While you wait, there are 3 TV's playing videos of their fruit and the making of some of their most popluar shakes. It is fun to watch.

I was impressed that there was a public hand washing station in the hall outside the restrooms. I loved the blue bowl sink and over head lighting. Entry into the restrooms require a key code from the front counter.

The chandelier lighting is very pretty. I'd call it romantic. This place is very nice to spend time with your friends or family. Large tables makes this the perfect place for celebrations.

There are some great stores in this shopping center like Joann's craft store, Target and a 99cent only store. So when you're done with your shopping you've got to stop in here. It's cool...

Okay, so I’m going to be very harsh in this review. My friends and I were very excited to come here it’s an hour away from where we all live and so we were excited to go to this place.

They constantly post on instagram so we wanted to see what all the hype was about.

When we got there, not going to lie I was underwhelmed as the place was small, not decorated and the tables are oddly placed. We wanted to sit in the big table but it was dirty... sitting there anyway (and cleaning the table ourselves) we ordered 8 items off of the menu because it’s far and we wanted to try everything.

The carne asada fries no tienen sabor.

THE THING THAT MADE ME low-key upset was LAS FRESAS CON CREMA!!! ... it’s more of a strawberries with straight up milk because the creamy consistency was not there and they do not add pecans, oats, or almonds like other places. I 10/10 do not recommend.

The specialty drinks are okay, if you like suuuper sweet drinks then you’ll vibe with it. If not, then you might want to get a small size.

The corn and chips was okay, but the sweetness of the corn threw me off with the mayo and Parmesan cheese.

The churro drink and the chocolate (oreo) drink were worth it though!

The ice cream and mango agua fresca that we got were delicious. My only complaint was that on the board the picture of ice cream I chose had sweet condensed milk and it also said it had it in the description of the ice cream, which is the reason I chose that ice cream, but when I got the ice cream it did not have sweet condensed milk and when I told the first lady she said it would be extra and I pointed out on the board to the picture and the description and she still insisted it was extra. Another younger girl came over and I once again explained the situation and she also said it would be extra so then I once again pointed out the board and they did NOT admit they were wrong but they at least added the sweet condensed milk.

I wonder how many people they have charged extra for something that is included?

The pllace was really clean and really noce, but I had to ask for soap for the bathroom and they brought me a little bottle so I think they ran out of soap and this is a place where you will use your hands to eat some of their food.
