Burger King — Restaurant in Mesa

If I could give this zero stars, I would. I went through their drive-thru because my daughter was hungry and it was convenient. My friend had warned me against this particular location but I figured I would give it the benefit of the doubt. I mean one bad employee shouldn’t ruin the whole place. They had me waiting before I could place my order even though there was literally only one car in front of me. By the time I finally got up to the window to pay, the employee was very dismissive. He handed me my drinks, then my card without my receipt. I asked for my receipt and he said “sure” then walked away. He grabbed my bag and handed it to me without paying attention and never handed me my receipt. In fact, I saw him grab the receipt from the printer and crumbled it up and tossed it. I waited at the window for him to finally acknowledge me and I asked for my receipt. He had to reprint it and then I asked him for ketchup and bbq sauce. He then proceeded to tell me that he had to charge me for that because he had given me 4 things of ranch already. I told him that it made no sense because I never asked for ranch and then asked him why he would do that in the first time. He turned around to talk to his manager since he was now at the window with him. I heard the manager tell him to ask for the ranch back if I didn’t want to pay for the bbq. Then the employee turned to me and said, “I’m gonna need you to give that ranch back so I can give you the bbq.” As I was handing him the ranch back, his manager yelled at me and...

My experience here was a positive one. The drive-thru was very swift and the customer service I experienced from Charles was awesome. He was friendly and even went as far as helping me save money by telling me about a deal they had on 10 piece chicken nuggets vs the regular six I was going to get.

The food was warm and appeared to be just prepared. The fries could have used a little more salt and the whopper a little less onion and mayo. However, neither tasted bad and were still enjoyable.

The pop however is a different story. I ordered a sprite and what I received was the oddest tasting sprite I have ever had. It tasted like the carbonation and the sprite syrup were not proportioned correctly. Furthermore, there was a plastic-like taste ( that's the only way I know to describe it). Not a fan, I threw that away with the swiftness. (Thankfully there is a trash can as you're coming out of the drive-thru).

The chicken nuggets were the most tasty of all the items I ordered. The breading was seasoned and had a nice flavor. Good thing because the nuggets aren't packing much chicken. The breading is more of a traditional kind versus the tempura like breading on McDonald's chicken nuggets.

Overall I'm not enthralled by the food but the customer service of the drive-thru operator was great. Ultimately I'd say you're not missing much but not coming...

I'm giving restaurant Burger King on the corner of Gilbert and southern of five star they have great customer service you know when you have one of those days where you think that nothing's going right you walk into a place and it just takes one person to change that all around and make you smile well that happened to me today so I want to say thank you to Freddy the manager and Wendy the cashier thank you for having a true smile and for not looking down at me because I was counting change and for what you did thank you for having good hearts and for working here at Burger King because you guys make difference in people that come specially during these times and also for the manager that and for working here at Burger King because you guys make difference in people that come specially during these times and also for the manager that both workedyesterday she also did something amazing so I want to thank her too I wish I would know your name but you know who you are so thank you again if anybody is ever wanting to get a smile on your face or in your heart and you're feeling down and just come to Burger King believe me I'll make a difference on your day and a and they also get five stars for having her clean restaurant and clean restroom again thank you guys high five God...
