Today I came in for my new keto favorite, a Large 3 pump unsweetened watermelon black tea. I was greeted by a delightful young gentlemen named Evan. I had been had explained that I have to have it unsweetened as I’m doing keto and have had great success is my weight loss journey. He very kindly congratulated me. I had also explained I had put in my two weeks today at my job, he asked if it was a good move and I told him yes and I would be making a lot more money. He congratulated me again and said how awesome it was that I was able to have such a successful few months and not many have been able to do so during the covid pandemic. It was an amazing and surprisingly much needed conversation. I had had a somewhat rough day and when I left from just simply getting a tea, I felt surprisingly better, like I had just had an hour long talk with a therapist but it was actually a 5 minute long conversation with a total stranger. Evan is a wonderful and much needed asset to this company and is the perfect display of what incredible customer service looks like. He treats his customers like a human and less like a number and really has a wow factor to his character. This is not my normal black rock I go to, I usually go to the one in east mesa; however, I look forward to coming back again and ordering my new “usual”. Read moreHonestly it was cool the first few months being here but I came to realize their coffee is pretty gross & the customer service is garbage. I tried ordering an iced cappuccino & was told it was impossible to make one. I’m a former coffee barista.. you can in fact make it iced. The woman who spoke to me was rude and completely unprofessional. She used that basic “I know more than you” snobby voice to try and explain to me why she couldn’t, assuming she knew more than I did. She wasn’t even the one running the window. She pushed that girl out of the way and cut her off when she asked her to remake it into an iced cappuccino for me because they messed up the rest of our order already to begin with… honestly pretty sure they were just lazy hungover college girls who lack skills in the customer service industry. I ended up settling with the hot cappuccino and when I say this I swear it’s not an exaggeration… it was complete sludge & wasn’t even drinkable. Read moreI just had one of the worst costumer experiences at this location so far. I have been coming to this location for over 2 years and each experience hasn’t been good but not bad for a review. Today in the afternoon when I went to order some drinks, I had to wait for a little over 30 minutes before deciding to go ask for a refund in a positive and thoughtful manner , because it was taking too long. They seemed to be under staffed, but the workers were taking their time and ignoring us. After asking, another employee making her own drink came up in unprofessional manner and attire asking whats wrong, she proceeded to tell me “ Are you sure you didn’t get your drinks already”, that statement made me feel guilty for asking because she said it in a attitude. Although I am getting my refund I don’t think I will be coming to this location any time soon. If I could give this review zero stars I would.
