Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Mesa

Avoid this place. Food was absolutely disgusting. We all accept that fast food is not going to be fine dining, but whatever they gave me tonight barely counts as human food. I wouldn't offer this to my worst enemy.

The first warning sign was when I opened the bag. They gave me plenty of house dressing packs but half of them were partially open, creating a mess inside the bag.

The fries were tough, cold, and chewy. You'd get the same experience grabbing a raw potato from your pantry and gnawing on it.

I ordered 7 stuffed jalapenos. Four of them were okay if a little burnt. One was empty, just the breading without a cheese-filled jalapeno inside. The last two were crumbled up pieces of burnt breading scattered under the other five.

The spicy chicken sandwich was the worst. The bun was smashed flat and soaked in mayo-grease. The limp lettuce was brownish-green and tasted rotten. The tomato slice was red but mushy and also had a strange flavor. The chicken patty was way too greasy and mushy. No crispness at all. It was the saddest chicken sandwich I have ever seen.

The single positive thing that can be said was the gentleman working at the drive-thru was polite. But now that I think about it, the smile he had was probably hiding the message, "Haha, sucker! Wait until you get home and open the bag!" I don't even want to think about what the kitchen conditions to this place are like.

Again, avoid this place...

I really don’t appreciate being mocked by the employees here because they can’t understand me. Came here at 9 pm for the munchie meal and it was accidentally 8:59 and the lady who was there was yelling at us and didn’t want to serve us because we came one whole minute early. On top of that she decided to scream at us the whole time instead of just speaking normal, because I had to raise my voice for her to hear me. Extremely unpleasant staff. This isn’t the only time I’ve had issues. The amount of times I’ve come here just to be sent away because their “card system is down” which I understand isn’t their fault. But being treated poorly, being screamed at, and the amount of attitude each employee had with us was beyond unprofessional. Then they decided to give us open boxes and toss one of them at me instead of just handing it to me. Every other location closes the box and puts a sticker on it so it doesn’t bust open. I’ll be surprised if they didn’t give us floor...

I give up.. this place is just a joke I don’t know if I should get mad or just laugh…. The other night I bought 22 tacos Extra Lettuce well when I get home I hardly can see the lettuce some tacos don’t even have lettuce, I drive back to the restaurant and I told the lady on the window about the tacos she make me a face and then she grab some gloves and start opening all the tacos while she was standing in front of the window.. to be honest I didn’t understand if her madness was to me (probably she thought I was lying) or with the girl on the kitchen. She told me she can refund the money or remake the food.. I just told her to add the lettuce to the same tacos.. I just want to leave the place and just don’t go back AGAIN🤬 mine starts to that...
