Two Cups Coffee & Cafe' — Restaurant in Mesquite

Two Cups atmosphere was quiet and soothing, a good place for a cup or two of coffee and some chill time or to do some thinking or homework. The music wasn't loud and the tv was not blasting annoying sports or other disruptive noise. This place is quaint, quiet, reasonable and flavourful. Our first trip here was not a let down. I do admit the little sausage patties were kind of interesting, but they were very flavourful and the bacon was crisp but not over done.

I was very impressed with the flavor of the food for sure. As someone who enjoys adding flavors to my own cooking, I can honestly say that the entire breakfast for two was well worth the price. I left full and happy, but not over filled. My Bandanna Nut Muffin and he wifes Blueberry Muffin were both a beautiful mix of flavors served soft and warm enough to melt Whipped Butter. In other words PERFECT! I think the wife and I were more impressed the Muffins weren't drowned in sugar for their sweetness; which actually hides flavor, tricking the brain into thinking the sugar is the carrier of the flavors.

Mesquite needs more places with good food, like Two Cups. Places that depend on well mixed flavors, excellent service and good prices, rather than sugar and fats to trick us into coming back.

The coffee is just right, not bitter and overbearing like Starhump's which seems to embody hate, darkness and all things evil, (LOL, yes I hate that national chain).

So I like the ambiance of this spot. It's ducked off. I had the breakfast croissant with egg and bacon. The bread was fluffy and light with a buttery flavor. The bacon was crisp and fresh. The coffee was soo good I had to purchase their signature coffee mug. I had the hazelnutt .This is the perfect Cafe for a nice morning breakfast sandwich with your boo or boo-ett... only complaint my boo had was you had to purchase water. And it was a PH water which is healthy, however she felt free tap water should always be an option anywhere I loved the experience...

If I could give 10 STARS I would!!! Ms Diana just got herself a loyal customer. My husband and I wanted some Good coffee. No more Starbucks. We stopped by and we were welcomed In the nicest way. Not only was the coffee delicious, the customer service and ambiance was wonderful!! If you are ever in the Mesquite area, please pay her a visit. Trust me, she will not disappoint.
