First impressions.... Oh my God dirtiest restaurant I've ever been in. All of the female staff and waitresses and even the cook had holes in their leggings. I hope they were the same pants/leggings just so they dont tear up their good pants. Idk. I did find out that the minimum wage in Texas is like $7.45 an hour which seemed crazy to me and I had to wonder how can people live with such a small income coming in. I'm pretty sure there were nine of us dining and literally it took 30 minutes for everybody to get their food okay. If I'm correct, my 9 year old and 13 year old got their food last. All of the adults had their waffles and other varieties of food that they ordered and the kids literally got their food at the end. The restaurant was dirty. The obviously had some new staff there and she wasn't familiar on how to cook a waffle.I watched her scrape two waffles from the waffle iron BURNT before the main cook came and took over. That girl was struggling. I think they could use an update on the kitchen. the restaurant seems like a place that was actually built and the owner just doesn't care about the inside or the quality of the food or how his staff looks. Seem to be a young staff. I really just felt unsure and honestly a little scared to eat here. We sat near the bar area and could see into the kitchen and watching our food be prepared. I overheard a few of the waitresses talking about some of the staff that was clocking on to work and that definitely made me feel a bit uneasy. This place definitely needs an overhaul. It's quite obvious the Cook or Chef last night is a working mother or parents and this is her livelihood and what she does to pay her bills and she seemed the most serious about what she was doing. The staff should take more pride in the workplace and this place could use a deep clean and the staff definitely absolutely needs to be provided bottoms or some sort of slack pant. Last, my mom always taught me to clean as you go when your in the kitchen making anything- they need to hear this too. If you like fear factor food, go...
Read moreIt was way too clean but I was hungry!! I wondered; "is this place open?" Then RT said: "Welcome In, Thanks for Stoppin!" and I was right back at home again. I usually dont do reviews but this "stop" as RT called it was different. Strange but Special. RT took my order, brought my drinks, threw down some meat, toast, a waffle and some hash browns. He asked if I was good, yes. He then washed dishes, stacked them, washed his hands, put gloves on and continued cooking. There was nobody else there. Wait a second...huh? Why is it so clean, why am I the only guest. Who is this mystery RT really supposed to be? Then suddenly outta nowhere I snapped back to reality and RT was there smiling pouring a hot coffe while setting down my waffle. He brings the rest out and my Over Easy eggs were PERFECT!!!!! I've never seen such mastery. They were the Heavenliest Over Easy eggs ever. Everything on the plate was cooked to perfection. Even the butter on the bread was melted with exquisite precision soaking perfectly into every morsel of toasty greatness. I still couldn't get over how clean the store was but the atmosphere was as dead as it gets which made it very strange. When RT brought the ticket he said; "Please forgive me, i havent cooked in 4 or 5 years. Thanks for coming in." The man never stopped. It was incredible and delicious. I went back in a few hours later to tip him but he was gone, the store was dirtyish, there were 3 people there with 2 on their phone and a stack of dishes 3feet high. So, i just used the restroom and left. Thanks RT. Or is that your real...
Read moreIf I can give 0 stars I would but Came in the place an order 1 Allstar large with bacon, hashbrown with extra egg with cheese with an normal waffle 1 Allstar with sausage eggs scrambled hard with the pumpkin spice waffle with grits along with hashbrown on the side and hashbrown with gravy on it. Our order was incorrect cheese on the grits didn’t get the side hashbrown, had pecan waffle instead of the pumpkin spice, had biscuits and gravy instead of hashbrown. So we tired to call to informed the order was wrong but no answer. Drove back up there and the young lady apologized and she said she only been there a few weeks but the older white lady that was cooking only replace the waffle and the hashbrown with gravy and cook some egg without cheese and provide it in a small container. They said due to Covid they can’t take food back so we kept the same order we brought back and it was cold. For driving back up there our food should have been re-cooked to be fresh not no cold food we had to bring back that was messed on their end. When you spending your money you want what you pay for....
