Whataburger — Restaurant in Mesquite

DO NOT GO THERE!! My family and I went here on Saturday December 1st after a wonderful day at Christmas in the park. There was 6 of us so we knew that our order would take a little longer coming out. So we waited, and waited and waited. People that came in after which was 4 of them got their food and left, the young lady behind the counter was yelling at the cook about forgetting to make our food and then came out to us and said we are making you food fresh. Really? But ok. By this time we have already been waiting an hour for our order. So she brings our order out and apologized for the inconvenience. We looked over everything and saw that we were missing two meals, so my mom goes up there, and nice ask them for the meals that were missing, then all of a sudden the cook comes out from the back scream at my mom about the order and tell her she was just trying to get more food out of them, he brought out the receipt and yelled at me if this was the correct order, which my husband came over and said you do not talk to my wife in that Mann and you need to calm down. I told him that receipt was not ours and ask was missing, an left to the back to make the food. By now my children were upset and pretty much everyone had lost their appetite. The young lady brought the meals and just walked off, she brought us the wrong meals, but we just got everything and left. We threw the food away because we didn’t know if they had done something to it. My kids were very upset and ask for us to not go back. I have not been scared or disrespected like that in my life and for these kids to talk to their elders that way was appalling. I’m not the only only that had that kind of experience there, and you shouldn’t either, I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT...

On August 15,2025 @ 10:06am me and my neighbor went thru the drive thru and order two sausage egg and cheese taquitos. The wait was maybe 5 minutes, we get our food and we leave. After I took her to work maybe 7/8 minutes up the road I decided to eat my food as I’m driving. I take two bites into my taquito to find a hair in it. I call the store JODI WHITE picks up the phone I ask to talk to Keisha she goes in tell me I’m not supposed to call the phone nor come on the premises. (She doesn’t have anything in black and white saying this she just saying this out her mouth) so I drive back up there after I drop my neighbor off for work, I go in she approaches me shaking her head I’m like “hey my food has hair in it” she like “well you not supposed to be here anyways” I tell her “well rather or not I’m supposed to be here your employee serviced me and took my order let alone took my money” she goes to say “well still your not supposed to be here” I tell her “well can I have a refund and can I have cooperates number” she tries to be funny and began calling the number out very fastly I tell her “could you right it down please and thank you” she say “you try my to fight an employee so you not supposed to be on the property” I say “never tried to fight your employee and to my knowledge the lady doesn’t work here anymore and where is it at again in white and black with my name on it that I’m not supposed to be on the property” she goes to say “you come up here again I will call the police to do a Trespassing report on you” I replied so again it’s not in black and white but you have a bless day”

Walk in at 2:20am and they just stare and say "we are closed". With a puzzled face of WHATABURGER known for their 24hr service. I reply "your open 24hrs!". There was 4 workers 1 "manager"(which is not wearing a name badge)(Tall,African American, short hair, heavyset, drives infinity). He stands by and just lets (Brianna J) say such non-sense. Manager tells Brianna to tell us to just go through the drive-thru. I insisted with "your open 24hrs". I was not greeted at the door, I instead was shown the door!. Did not feel welcomed whatsoever. I am a regular customer, I visit this restaurant at least 2-3 times a week and live 5 mins away walking distance. This is not the first time I encouter an issue with this "manager" but this is my first and last complaint. The other encounters I also noticed he didn't have his badge, and asked for his name (in which he refused). I AVOID going at night because of this "manager". So unprofessional, they are suppose to resolve issues not disregard or create them. I WILL NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN, i will take my business elsewhere. Also I will share my experience with this location to warn the customers of the bad customer service. Slow service. Long lines. Incorrect orders....
