WOW, WOW, WOW, and WOW! The BEST Birria tacos I have EVER had! We were so hungry that we forgot to take photos but the presentation of the food was top notch! I’ll make sure to take photos and add to review or write another next time I go! What was even better was the taste! We had the queso fundido with chorizo and the cheese was melted to perfection. I love that they bring chips AND tortillas in case you prefer one over the other. We also ordered the avocado tomato salad (we added shrimp! - meat added comes around the salad so it’s nice in case someone doesn’t want the meat) as an “appetizer” and it was delicious/shareable! The cilantro and onions just amplified the taste. Then on to the main course, the birria tacos! I recently moved back from TX where I had found a small Mexican mom and pops shop with the best birria tacos. I thought I couldn’t find that in Miami but OMG, I did. And it’s here at La Diosa Taqueria. God bless the hands of the chef last night who made those birria tacos to perfection! The taste was delicious and you could tell they took the time to cook the meat because of the taste of the consomè. My husband also had 3 margaritas and he loved them! Our server Juliana was excellent and super attentive. She was so nice and recommended different options or things that were popular amongst customers. She was so sweet and introduced us to an extremely delicious shot! I asked her what it was called 3xs and now I forgot but I think it’s “beso de tu ex” or something like that. It had mango, passion fruit, vodka and a hint of spice! She even brought out a little horchata with sprinkles “shot” (non-alcoholic, ofc) so our 3 year old son could be part of it. Excellent service and attention by Juliana 10/10! Another thing we loved was how cute the place is! The ambiance is perfect and you can tell the owner put a lot of time into designing and just mapping out the place. The music was perfect even when it was the videos playing on the TV (we sat to the left where the booths were). Obsessed with my Spanish Latino music and it was definitely a vibe. We are already planning to go back next week on my husband’s next night off! I will 1000% be ordering from here weekly whether it’s in person or on Uber Eats! If you can’t make it, know that you can order it online to try the amazing birria tacos! We were very happy and I cannot wait to...

The place is gorgeous. It's like an explosion of silk flowers and bright colors and summer evening lights They did an amazing job with the decor. Even their margaritas have silly funny little touches. The margaritas can be done normally or with tropical fruit flavors and actual fruit in them. The service was very good. I went with a friend to celebrate my birthday. It's location about 8 blocks behind main Street Miami lakes in a strip mall full of other restaurants and businesses. They have outside seating but with no fans and fairly side bar area. High chairs and about 5 booths . The opposite side of the restaurant has the conditioning large lounge feel and a few tables. They have an indoor photographer in case you would like a frame picture of your experience there however they don't take no for an answer politely and it does become a bit annoying after a while. It is a bit pricey. 2 tacos the side of your palm for $12.00. not really my style My friend ended up with a chicken burrito. Good size. $16.00 with two dipping sauces on the side. I ended up with their Mexican bowl with steak $18.00. not sure about this Mexican fusion about mixing black beans and sweet plantains in a bowl with a teaspoon of Pico de Gallo. Green rice ( not sure what made it green) no crema. But it was tasty. For dessert we had churros with vanilla ice cream. $12.00. great presentation but it was 1 long churros cut in four pieces and a scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate crumbs underneath. The place is handicap accessible but you need to fix the locks in the bathroom and if you are in a wheelchair you have no place to seat in the bar because the layout doesn't work. Booths have small area for walking and high chairs don't work. Also we went on a Friday night. Dj playing music which made it difficult to hear the person next to you talk because you had to speak over the music. Again gorgeous over scaled place but the company was the best part...

★☆☆☆☆ This restaurant is a complete disappointment. I have no idea how it has 4.7 stars.

I ordered a sangria, and what they served was absolutely horrible: cheap white wine with a smashed kiwi and syrup that tasted like pure molasses. There was no fresh fruit, no proper preparation—just something poorly thrown together that was impossible to enjoy.

Then, my boyfriend ordered a sparkling water for himself. Instead of bringing a personal-sized bottle, they brought a giant bottle meant for six people. This was clearly an intentional attempt to overcharge us for something unnecessary. It was obvious they did this on purpose to inflate the bill. This speaks volumes about the restaurant’s lack of ethics.

The food was even worse. I ordered a chicken bowl, and it was dry, cold, and completely flavorless. The chicken tasted like it had been sitting in a steamer all day, drying out like leftover Chicken Kitchen. The rice tasted like microwaveable instant rice, and the beans and plantains were cold, as if they’d just been pulled from the freezer. My boyfriend ordered a steak burrito, and it was the same: dry, cold, mostly rice, with cheese that didn’t even melt because the whole thing was freezing.

The nachos were stale, greasy, and far from crunchy. Nothing was fresh or well-prepared. The fact that the food arrived just 3 minutes after we ordered says it all: everything is frozen and reheated.

This place claims to be Mexican, but it’s obvious they have no clue how to make authentic Mexican food. The owners seem to be Cuban, as were all the servers, and it’s clear the kitchen staff likely is too. They simply don’t know how to make proper Mexican dishes.

To make things worse, it’s outrageously overpriced: we paid nearly $90 for an experience that wasn’t worth half of that. I honestly don’t understand how this place has so many stars. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I’m never...
