First I get to the window and Y. MARTINEZ (supposedly the manager at the Miami airport location) tells me cash only. There is no sign alerting me to this but thankfully I had cash so my time waiting in line wasn't wasted. I pick up two boxes of milk, listed at 2.25 each on the menu. She rings me up 2.99 each. I asked tel her it's the wrong price. First she says it's the tax tat gets it to 2.99. I ask her the percentage of tax and she mumbles something to her colleague then tells me it's a different milk. I started to ask what is the other milk but she dismisses me saying it's the tax but still won't tel me the percentage. I pay for it anyway but when I look at the receipt it shows that tax was added to the 2.99 each. So not only was there false advertising but she also LIED about the difference in price being tax. I wish I knew who to report her to. I told her it's not ok to lie about prices of her goods and that I'm pretty sure it's illegal (false advertising). She just stood there batting her eyelashes. For some unknow reason she felt it appropriate to address me as "baby." To be clear, we are not friends and I've never met this woman. After she tells me she's the manager it was pretty clear that she is probably as good as it was going to get at that place. Well, "baby," I recommend you get some more management training. Not only to hike prices on a whim, lie to customers about taxes, or address customers as "baby" or any other familiar terms unless you know them. It's all too suspicious given that they magically can only take cash and are overcharging for goods. Really...
Read moreWhile waiting on our connecting flight, we visited this bar and ordered a mango margarita with Cazadores tequila. ($24.00). Unfortunately, the margarita was overly bitter and excessively sweet, which we brought to our server’s attention. Rather than addressing our concerns professionally, our server, Dailenys, responded with a poor attitude and started arguing with us. This lack of courtesy and customer care left a terrible impression.
The issue with the margarita stems from their technique—muddling lime wedges instead of using fresh lime juice. This adds unpleasant bitter notes and fails to provide the proper balance and acidity needed for a quality cocktail. It’s disappointing to see such an exceptional tequila, like Cazadores, being used in a poorly crafted recipe.
As supporters of Bacardi Mojito’s Brand and its stellar portfolio, we expected higher standards in both the drinks and customer service. This experience does not reflect the quality we associate with the brand, and sadly, we won’t be returning...
Read moreThey served me double shot mojitos when asked for virgin….. Sat in this place from around 4pm to 6pm today to pass time in between flights. Ordered a couple VIRGIN mojitos (i am underaged), when i got my check i saw they charged me for DOUBLE shot mojitos, I asked the waiter about this (who was already giving a poor service) and he said that’s what i ordered. I couldn’t believe that anyone can confuse the word virgin for double. I told him i am underaged and that is not what i ordered so i should not be charged this price, to which he proceeded to try and tell me i showed him ID. Which i clearly did not because if i did, he would have seen i am 18 years old. This is absolutely horrible. I was studying for an important university exam and 30 minutes later i could not even focus. I nearly missed my flight from being disoriented. Absolutely terrible...
