Au Bon Pain — Restaurant in Miami Springs

I thought Au Bon Pain was going to be an order-type establishment but it is a convenience grab-and go type set up as some other reviewers' pictures suggest. I don't know where the pictures of the full service store were taken, but we did not see it next to the location we visited. As we were cutting it close, I did not think to walk further to investigate if there was another location. We passed by a Dunkin Express and I assumed Au Bon Pain was the same express set up. Two stars because at least the egg white skinny bagel had a double portion of eggs, and the the yogurt cup was not overly marked up ($5 compared to the $7 San Diego parfaits I passed by). I didn't like that the hot sandwich selection was skimpy and that my Egg & Cheese was the last one there (as a vegetarian, I would have had no other hot choice had it not...

I’m simply reviewing the staff here at this establishment. Roxana, behind the counter, took my order, when it came to a tip, I did not give one.

Roxana spoke in Spanish to the other staff members that I did not leave a tip. She even called me cheap. Unfortunately for her I knew exactly what she said. I’m sorry that people nowadays just expect a tip before their work is even assessed or a service even provided. Just because I am American does not mean I am rich. It doesn’t mean I’m just going to reach in my pocket and give you money because you asked.

I’m glad I did not leave her a tip. Expectations lead to disappointments. Entitlement? Even worse.

Teach your staff to not judge people nor speak in another language about them. You never know who you are dealing...

I purchased on 7/15/22 8:09 a Turkey club check 3596200 terminal#359 Cashier Cidney. After my flight departed for San Francisco I removed one half from the container to find the the bottom half of it had mold on the bread and tomatoes. I check the other half and it didn’t have as much but for obvious reason I had to throw it away. My AA flight did not provide nor sold any food. I had to rely on extra croissant I purchased from you and the nuts and cookies provided by the flight attendant which is not the best scenario for anyone traveling for many hours.
