🌿 A Truly Unforgettable Baby Shower Experience at Ciao Havana! 🌸
I had the absolute pleasure of hosting my baby shower this past Saturday at Ciao Havana, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the experience!
From the very beginning, I worked closely with Melissa, who guided me through the planning process with care and professionalism. She took the time to meet with me, walk me through their menu, and discuss pricing per guest. Her clear communication made planning so much easier! Especially for me that I don’t live locally in Miami, I am from out of town.
On the day of the event, I was warmly supported by Catalina, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was picture-perfect. Her attentiveness and kindness were felt throughout the entire event. She listened to my requests and she delivered, I also allowed her creativity to flow and I was open minded with ideas she brought in and gave her my vision. She made it come true!
Originally, I had reserved the beautiful outdoor terrace, but due to an incoming heat wave, the general manager Agustín and the amazing staff took it upon themselves to relocate the event to their indoor club space, which conveniently connects to the terrace. This thoughtful gesture ensured a cool, comfortable celebration for everyone—and they even allowed us to use both spaces!
Agustín and Chef Ochoa were incredibly accommodating and helpful. Ochoa even assisted me in arranging some of the decorations and party favors I brought, and made sure everything was presented with elegance and style. The level of care and hospitality from everyone on staff truly touched my heart.
Now let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! My guests are still raving about the delicious menu: • Spaghetti with a spicy kick (perfect for the spice lovers!) • Moro rice & vaca frita • Maduros (sweet plantains) • Milanesa de pollo • Plus amazing appetizers like the prosciutto & cheese board and fried calamari
Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and every dish was a hit!
The ambiance, decor, and overall vibe made the entire celebration feel magical. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. This experience was not only memorable—it was meaningful. 💕
If you’re looking for a venue that’s not only visually stunning but staffed with genuinely caring and capable professionals, I highly recommend Ciao Havana—10 out of 10! Worth every penny and then some.
Thank you again to the entire team for making this mama-to-be feel...
Read moreThe food is good. So I am 50/50 overall. So I went because it was my anniversary and I made sure to specify that on my reservation. No a mention of it at all. The staff automatically assumes you speak Spanish. This is a Italian restaurant and it loves to state how it Romantic. Actually it’s not at all romantic. Everywhere it says ciao Bella yet in google and menu it says ciao Havana. The appetizer are big the carpaccio extremely good. Meatballs very good but the cold ricotta on top not good and the temperature of the meatballs were not great I expect my food to come out hot not just a little over room temperature. My main entree I was expecting a large size and was extremely disappointed it’s actually the size of a small salad bowl. The music for a Italian restaurant you would expect soft romantic is was salsa and merengue then don’t have a Italian restaurant in the middle of little Havana it was loud and no. Romantic my wife got up to take a picture and a rude waiter came up to her and said is there a problem like really someone can’t get up. Service lacked a lot. For the price great for appetizers dinner not worth it. Also we got there 10 min before 7 it says free drink with entree the lady said sorry it’s almost 7 no free drink. As a Italian restaurant you should never run out of prosciutto and that...
Read moreI owed this to you: Choosing a place to eat and have a good time in Miami, and especially on 8th Street, is a difficult task, as there are so many and varied options. My brother and sons were visiting us from Louisiana and wanted to have a good time, but above all, to enjoy the delicious Cuban food they yearn for, and which their children barely know. 8th Street is one of their favorite spots for shopping, taking a look at Cuban culture, and strolling. We were deciding on a place for a late lunch when, as we passed by this establishment, Ari, a beautiful Cuban woman, seduced us with her voice and charm. Never was an invitation to a restaurant more opportune than the one we received from "The Queen of the Salon." A beautifully decorated place, recreating the magic of the 1940s and 1950s; with varied, abundant, and top-quality food, denoting professional, exquisite, and delicate culinary work. The service and suggestions from Andres, the waiter, were detailed, friendly, and excellent. The Cubania atmosphere was beautifully achieved by the Cubania trio, which sounds and feels like a great combo or orchestra of the era; with a varied, rhythmic, and flavorful repertoire. Thanks, guys, for such great music. Enjoy it! You made our day! Fabulous team. A wonderful place. (See the pictures.) I invite...
