Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at La Martola, with a group of friends, and I must say, the experience was remarkable. We were a party of five, and every single dish we ordered was a hit, a testament to the chef's expertise and the high standards of the kitchen. The standout for me was undoubtedly the pizza. There’s something special about the dough they use; it’s unlike anything I've tasted before. It’s not just food; it's a culinary craft that speaks volumes of the attention to detail in their kitchen. The steak, too, was a revelation—cooked to perfection, each bite was a blend of flavors so rich and satisfying, it was clear that this was no ordinary steak. Another must is the lemon pasta. It’s not often you come across a dish that balances flavors so well, making it a must-try for anyone who visits. But what elevated the evening from simply a great meal to an unforgettable experience was the service. The level of attentiveness and professionalism from the staff was second to none. They anticipated our needs without being intrusive, ensuring our evening was seamless and thoroughly enjoyable. In conclusion, dining at La Martola isn't just eating out; it's an event, a celebration of food at its finest. The exceptional pizza, the exquisite steak, and not to forget, the impressive service, all contribute to a dining experience that's truly remarkable. For anyone looking to indulge in a meal that will linger in your memory long after the last bite, I can’t recommend La Martola enough. To boot the dessert platter was also incredible!

The first couple dishes we had (jamon iberico with chips, heirloom tomatoes, fried stuffed olives, tuna tartare, orata crudo) were incredible. Absolutely delicious! The larger plates/entrees (pasta and pizza) were good, but not as great as the first plates. Sadly, the end of our meal put a damper on the experience as a cockroach walked across the table mid-dessert. Listen, it can happen anywhere but the staff's reaction (or lack thereof) and way they handled the situation was the worst part. One of the staff said "oh, its just a bug" as to diminish the gravity of the situation, and another said "well, this is Miami!" as if to justify it. The staff was overall very stuffy, not warm or welcoming but I was wiling to overlook that at first. After the cockroach experience, I was in complete shock that NO ONE was apologetic or trying to make it right. We were comped a dessert (for my birthday, not the fiasco) AND a $10 charge for WATER!!!! To which I replied how delicious the food was but how utterly disappointed I was to receive this level of apathy given the situation. Our waitress "had to speak with the manager" (who we never saw) and only then we were comped $100 from our $500+ bill. I would genuinely enjoy dining here again as the food was great; however, the staff needs a major attitude adjustment and quick course on customer service & the customer experience.

I had the pleasure of dining at La Martola last Thursday, and it was an unforgettable experience. The evening was made even more special by the addition of live music, which created a lively yet relaxing atmosphere that perfectly complemented the meal. The highlight of my visit was their Portonovo Pizza. It was absolutely divine—perfectly cooked with a crispy crust, fresh and flavorful toppings, and a delightful balance of textures and flavors. It’s easily one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. The service was prompt and professional, and the restaurant maintained a clean and inviting environment. The live music added a wonderful touch, making the evening feel both celebratory and relaxing without being overwhelming. The combination of excellent food, welcoming ambiance, and entertainment made for a truly memorable night. I highly recommend La Martola, whether you’re looking for a casual dinner or a special night out. I’ll definitely be returning—especially for another Portonovo Pizza!

Was excited to check this new restaurant based on the great reviews but unfortunately my experience was not the same as others.

I legit just left the restaurant and am so appalled that I had to post this review as I left.

First of all, service was extremely slow for a not so busy night. The sever was very careless and didn’t really pay attention to our table at all. We waited 15 minutes to order, our wine glasses were empty for another 15 minutes and nobody bothered to refill so we poured it ourselves. Throughout the night I was expecting that it would get better but it did not. Service just kept getting worse and worse. We refilled our wine bottle the entire night which is extremely disappointing.

All the attention seemed to go to a table of the one of the owner’s friends. Piece of advice: Treat your regular customers with the same friendliness that you treat your friends and you’ll be in business a very long time!

Carbonara pizza: nothing incredible. Tasted like a flatbread, very doughy and lacked flavor.

The sashimi special: The quality was very good, but it was extremely salty. If you order, make sure to tell them to not season so much. Also, keep in mind that the tuna has chile flakes which wasn’t disclosed previously to ordering.

Loup de mer: extremely bland and rough in texture. Ratatouille was ok.

Contre-filet was ordered medium rare and was very good, as well as the polenta and asparagus.

This is such a nice, cozy, well decorated restaurant in a trendy location but due to my experience and horrible service, I will not be returning and do...

"I'm still reeling from my phenomenal dining experience at La Màrtola ! This gem has earned a permanent spot on my favorites list. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm, inviting aroma of sizzling grill steak and freshly baked pizza crust.

The star of the show was undoubtedly the Grill Steak - cooked to perfection, it was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The charred crust added a delightful smokiness that elevated the dish to new heights. And the Pizza Oven creations? Absolutely divine! The crust was crispy, the sauce was rich, and the cheese was melted to perfection.

But what truly made my experience stand out was the exceptional service. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, but the real highlight was the manager's warm engagement with customers. They took the time to chat with us, sharing stories and recommendations, making us feel like old friends. Their passion for the restaurant and dedication to customer satisfaction was palpable.

Special mention to the manager, Ahmed, for being so helpful and nice. Your enthusiasm and love for the restaurant are contagious, and your team's hospitality is a testament to your leadership.

In short, La Màrtola is a must-visit for any steak, Pizza lover and Fish. Exceptional food, paired with outstanding service and a warm atmosphere, make for an unforgettable experience. Five stars aren't enough - I'd give it ten if I could! Keep shining,...
