Why Barba clinic gets my loyalty and trust: After a terrible experience with a Fractora device, I was let scared, depressed and my face and skin at their worst. Then became the time to meet the best dermatologist in town 6 of them. None brought me what Barba clinic did. She was straight to the point. 1/ feeling safe, skin routine, very up front explanation of the possibility I had to recover 2/ incredible follow up, they record very carefully the steps they take on you, they want results 3/ the spa that people mistaken with your regular day spa in a hotel mostly done to relax you, is an aesthetic spa with highest teck to improve your skin, visit after visit, you come to the spa in a cocoon but not to experience the scents, and the massage, NO you come here to REJEVENATE and improve your skin, and treat it ! 4/ injections can be done nowadays everywhere, you even have dentist ready to give you little shots of this or that. But I am sorry if you do not want to look like a monkey, and have high brow higher one of the other, or if you do not want to look like an inflated tire, you need the knowledge, experience and the love of women's beauty. THIS IS WHAT BARBA clinic and spa does. Her team is exceptional of patience, devotion. Every routine, product, machine is tested on them before their clients. I am the full proof of the results that they can offer and they dedicate themselves to do so. I will keep some scars from my previous terrible experience, but I have not enough words to express how after visiting the other 6 dermatologists in Miami, how my gut told me this was the place to help me out of my nightmare. I used Selena at the spa she was just my angel. And then Doctor Barba, my saviour. I now live abroad, but travel to them because my results after 2 years are just incredible when I thought everything was lost. Dr Barba knows what to apply, where, when, how, for the most natural look and lasting effects. My next step will be Ulthearpy with them. No one touches my face again if it is not BARBA clinic or spa. I prefer to save money and do it here than going to a bargain fake spa or a pushy dermatologist on a time schedule frame. From the bottom of my heart from receptionist to Doctor Barba...
Read moreWith a very challenging skin cancer now in my rear view mirror, I wanted to share my thoughts on my experience with Dr. Barba and Barba Dermatology. And while I am happy to lavish deserved praise on Dr. Barba, more than anything, I wanted to point the way, and offer hope, to anyone looking for a comprehensive practice that can not only offer the very best in cosmetic procedures, but has been truly life saving in my more complicated skin cancer issues. Dr. Barba is vigilant not only about finding and treating skin cancers of all stripes, but is equally proactive in skin defense and pre-emptive actions we can take to help ourselves. She recently identified a complicated squamous cell on my nose. Not only did she find me one of the best Moh's surgeon's in the country, she made sure I got seen in a timely manner and she worked hand in hand with my NYC surgeon. In other hands this surgery might have been disfiguring. But Dr. Barba was determined that that would not be my outcome. And it wasn't. I am cancer free - and my nose looks incredible. And Dr. Barba has come up with a skin care treatment plan to keep me on track.
So often these days, it feels like commitment to excellence is a lost art. At Barba Dermatology, it is their heartbeat. If you are in the Miami area, give yourself the care...
Read moreFirst and last visit: Monday appointment was confirmed by the office staff on Friday. I needed to reschedule however, the office has no answering service or machine where to leave a message, no email either...and by the way if you need to cancel or reschedule on the same day as your appointment, they change your $50.00. Building is hard to find - the "Parking" sign is in the middle of the property on a white surface. Once your drive up to the 3rd floor a nice man valets your car (no other option) and directs you to the elevators where the directory is not updated and you play a guessing game with which elevator you need to get on to access your floor. Once inside the office you are presented with a REQUIRED "Easy Form" mandating credit card information that allows the office to charge your credit card at their leisure for any balances not covered by your insurance. I walked out with my forms in hand but, not before having to pay $3 for parking in their visitor lot for 23 minutes. What a disappointing experience to say the least. It would have been super helpful when setting up the first appointment to have been given relevant location information and to be emailed REQUIRED forms or lat least advised on office policies....I would not have...
