One of my favorite Southern destinations is Miami. And don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it with kids. We loved our experience with the kids, and they loved it too. We went on a food tour of Little Havana, played at Venetian Pool, chowed down at Robert Is Here, explored Wynwood Walls and so much more! When I found this grilled cheese shop around the corner from our Airbnb, how could I not try it? Covid-19: you can order and pay online. They also offer curbside pickup. I'm not sure how you're supposed to know when your order will be ready. When we called to say we were there, they told us that the time you're told online isn't accurate and had to wait 20 minutes longer. I thought the sandwiches wouldn't be that big, so my husband and I got 4 to split. I was wrong. They are pretty large. We got: the Mackin Melt, Southern Fried Chicken & Waffle Melt, Short Rib Melt, Croqueta Monsieur, Tomato Bisque, and a Pastelito Milkshake. The Short Rib Melt was definitely my favorite followed by the Mackin Melt. Both were very good and were perfect with the tomato bisque. The Croqueta Monsieur tasted a little too much like a ham and cheese sandwich for my liking. The Chicken & Waffle Melt was a little dry. We loved the Pastelito Milkshake. The biggest thing that I think makes this place not quite as good as other fancy grilled cheese places is the bread. I like a nice and crispy bread. Their bread was soggy. I know we got takeout, but we ate it within 5 minutes of picking it up. All in all, I enjoyed the meal and would go back again.

We found this place during a google search. The food was amazing but the service was horrible. I would have walked out the moment we stepped in, if my kids weren't so hungry. The girl that is suppose to be the host seemed irritated that we were there. When we walked in she just stared at us for sometime be fore we said hi. She handed us our menus from behind the counter. We had to ask if we just sit. Once we picked what we wanted I had to come to her, which she gave a sigh and a huff because she had to put her phone down to do her job. I ordered our food. Apparently she was having issues and had to keep yelling back to the chef to help her input our order. Once back seated she brings our one dish, we had ordered four dishes. We sat waiting for the rest. I walked up to ask about the remaining her response "You ordered didn't you, then it will be out". After a little more waiting turns out she didn't even ring in our entire order. Once we got ALL of our food, the food was delicious. But she made it an unpleasant experience.

I have tried all day to find the words to express how amazing I believe Ms. Cheezious is, but I can't adequately do it justice. If I could give them 100 stars, it wouldn't be enough.... Here is my story/experience:

My husband and I had their food for the first time at a work food truck event. I didn't get the name of the truck, so we then spent months going to food truck events around town trying to find them. We finally did... Ms. Cheezious. A clever play on words with grilled cheese goodness dripping from the letters! We then looked them up online and found that they had a store front/restaurant (actually 2) and we then went to the one on Biscayne Blvd.....even more good food possibilities!!!

A few months later, my husband was turning 35 and I wanted to throw him a birthday party. I looked all over and then it hit me.... Ms. Cheezious on Biscayne Blvd in Miami! They have a really cool back patio and everything. I emailed the owner, he got RIGHT BACK to me. He told me that it was okay to put up a tent, but needed to measure for me to see what would fit. He measured and I ordered it. We worked out appetizers, food options, nothing was hard about this at all! The day of the party came, the staff was OVERWHELMINGLY amazing and I didn't have to worry about one single thing! The party went off without a hitch! The food was its usual - FABULOUS!!! They arranged the tables, were there for the tent set-up, waited on us, water NEVER went dry or got warm, they even provided bug spray for us since we were outside! Who does that??? THEY DO!!! And I wasn't out an arm and a leg for it.

I was texting back and forth with Brian (one of the owners), Megan (one of the best managers/staffer/employee EVER) and got to meet the other co-owner the night of the party who was so friendly and welcoming! I must say, there isn't one bad thing about this place! The staff were all awesome and it wasn't forced. Everyone appears to LOVE their jobs! Customer service, food taste and presentation, accommodations, etc, etc....all A++++++!

I hope that this post at least conveys a piece of how strongly I believe you should go and try their food and restaurant out. You will not be disappointed! I hope that this review brings them business and allows them to open more restaurants. They are...

I discovered Ms. Cheezious through a search for food trucks and made my long way from South Beach to your current location on NE 4th Ave on a bicycle. I kept saying I hope it's good, because I always hate making long trips. I can't say all was lost because the food was actually pretty decent.

But here's my issue. A, this location is in a pretty bad part of town. I'm not scary, but to add to that, this is outside a warehouse and it is literally on the train tracks. I counted at least five trains that passed, super annoying. No ambiance whatsoever, and one little table to eat at. Also, no condiments.

Whoever the guy was that was working on 10/23/2025 was also pretty annoying. If I, the customer, greet you with a smile and you ignore me, talking about "how can I help you?" if I hadn't already made the long trip, I should have walked away at that point. Then I observe you going in and out of the warehouse, slamming doors, all the while you are on an apparent phone call cussing and carrying on.

I get that maybe you didn't want to work tonight, but deal with it and don't take it out on me. I was being nice and you didn't care, so now I'm checking you. It's y'all's business so do what you want, but it's not professional at all. Customer service and hospitality training would go a long way for you.

Then I just found out that you were one of the food vendors that agreed to go out to Alligator Alcatraz. Wow, you know you could have said no, but I guess that you are just greedy. I wish I knew this before I gave you any...

I kept seeing this place and wanted to try it, very clean when we walked in, the lady at the front was very nice. We ordered the fried chicken & waffle sandwich and a Gouda(?*) Mac& cheese sandwich. The back had really nice paintings and vibes, there were local cats in the back. Didn't bother us since I'm a huge cat lady, but be warned for those highly allergic. We got our food 15 minutes or so later, the fried chicken & waffle was a bit of a disappointment. The gravy and syrup was a great idea as well as the sandwich but the chicken tasted a bit old and really tough to chew on. Made my jaw hurt but it could have had a lot of potential. The 2nd sandwich saved our experience though, very delicious and filling. My only main complaint was that when the server came to drop off the food, we asked for water & she only filled up one cup rather then the two (that was obviously placed to the side so they can be seen and grabbed with ease). I've worked as a server for 5 years and that basic coding , a disappointment because I always tip 20% but the service didn't really deserve it. Oh well, we'll take our food ToGo next time. We'll definitely be coming back though!

*i honestly forgot if it was gouda or another cheese, their online menu is not up to date so I can't give credit to the...
