Mamma Leone Bakery in Miami is a delightful haven for those seeking an authentic taste of Italian baked goods. Nestled in a charming corner of the city, the bakery exudes warmth and coziness, creating an inviting atmosphere for patrons. The Bombolone chocolate is a standout treat, with its pillowy texture and decadent chocolate filling that harmoniously blends sweetness and richness. The Sfogliatella, a pastry known for its delicate layers, is a testament to the bakery's commitment to traditional recipes. Each bite unveils a delightful flakiness and a nuanced blend of sweet ricotta filling. The torta rustica, featuring spinach and ricotta cheese, is a savory delight. The marriage of fresh ingredients and expert craftsmanship results in a perfect balance of flavors, making it a savory highlight. The focaccia is another star, showcasing the bakery's mastery in achieving that coveted golden crust and soft interior. Mamma Leone's dedication to crafting fresh baked breads is evident in every loaf. The aroma of their breads permeates the air, enticing customers with a promise of unparalleled quality. Aside from the culinary delights, the bakery's location adds to its allure. The friendly ambiance and welcoming staff contribute to a positive experience, making Mamma Leone Bakery a must-visit for those in search of a genuine taste of Italy in the heart of Miami

Ive been wanting to go here for months since I moved. I’d always drive by and see all the bread in the window. The place has this local charm that you rarely find here in Miami but is abundant in cities like NYC or SF. You walk in and you are hit with smells of pastries and bread, hit with the noise of all the people talking in English, in Italian, in Spanish and hit with the feeling you are in the right place. I had the ham on bread (not what it’s called) and a cannoli to go. I heated the bread in my air fryer at home and it was amazing. The ham was tasty with nice natural oil and the bread was flaky and had a nice consistency. The cannoli was was also really good. Overall I want to go back and try more of their items. I may have found my new local spot.

Small Italian bakery in Edgewater offering panini, coffee (very good their espresso), bread and pastries. Inside you have a few seats, service is very good and worth stopping by. The menu might not be as extensive as other bakeries, but it’s an Italian place so it is more similar to the bakeries in Italy than the bakery in the USA where pretty much you have almost a full menu (so much that sometimes I can’t tell the difference between a bakery and a diner). It’s on the street, so parking can be found in streets nearby streets. The food is good, bread and pastries very good and the people working there are very nice. They have also a newly opened place around 82nd street in case that’s more convenient to you. Wish we had one in PB County.

The Crostata Pistacchio left me longing for MANY more pieces! It was soooo good! I will most definitely be back!

Editing my review to send a critical message to ownership. Last week, I entered this Wynwood location and the counter sales person that I've never seen before waited on me....with extreme reluctance. She did not want to interact with me and when one of the long time staff members motioned forcing her to acknowledge me, she avoided all eye contact, packaged the pastry and what completely blew my mind: demanded the total and while I slide my credit card into the point of sale machine, she literally WALKED AWAY AND SAT DOWN, SCROLLING ON HER CELL PHONE. The messaging was: your kind isn't welcome here.

Truly disturbing. I patronize this location and their new location very frequently and this is the first I've encountered of this bias. I've spoken to the owner over the phone in the past and he resolved a very minor food order issue with integrity and urgency.

Due to this one sales woman I'm removing my patronage. I wish this bakery the very best and will remember them (outside of this memorable incident)...
