Today, drove 20ā across town and arrived at 5:57PM (time on my phone). Door was already locked. Employees were busy putting things away. Knocked on the door. Employees purposefully avoided eye contact and ignored me. There is NO way they could not have heard. Clearly, they just wanted to go home and not deal with another customer. In fact, they were off-premises by 6:04 PM.
Honestly, that attitude does not reflect well on your business. This is not a public administration in Europe, where ābefore the hour, itās not yet the hour, and after the hour, itās no longer the hour.ā

Editing my review to send a critical message to ownership. Last week, I entered this Wynwood location and the counter sales person that I've never seen before waited on me....with extreme reluctance. She did not want to interact with me and when one of the long time staff members motioned forcing her to acknowledge me, she avoided all eye contact, packaged the pastry and what completely blew my mind: demanded the total and while I slide my credit card into the point of sale machine, she literally WALKED AWAY AND SAT DOWN, SCROLLING ON HER CELL PHONE. The messaging was: your kind isn't welcome here.
Truly disturbing. I patronize this location and their new location very frequently and this is the first I've encountered of this bias. I've spoken to the owner over the phone in the past and he resolved a very minor food order issue with integrity and urgency.
Due to this one sales woman I'm removing my patronage. I wish this bakery the very best and will remember them (outside of this memorable incident)...
