OUI Bistrot — Restaurant in Miami

Ordered two sandwiches and a soup and nearly 30 minutes later, no food. They were a little busy (about half capacity) and new, so we weren’t too upset, but assembling 2 sandwiches and the soup of the day that’s premade should be quick. We asked the waitress and she said they just started our order so 8 more minutes. 10 minutes later we just asked if we could have the food to go.

But then the real kicker happened… the owner shrugged at my wife and she said “sorry it’s just that we have been waiting nearly 45 minutes” and his reply…. “32” 😂. Instead of apologizing and having good customer service, he chose the argumentative approach. Terrible business man.

However, our server was extremely nice and attentive and the man behind the counter who took our payment handled everything exceptionally well. The service staff are great but unfortunately it seems the kitchen does not have their act together yet (again, understandable as they are new) and the owner has poor people skills.

We got home and honestly, the sandwich tasted good, but it was just a very small baguette with very little ingredients in between. Not a good value for $19.50. The carrot ginger soup was barely edible to me, but maybe if you’re a big ginger fan you’ll like it.

If it weren’t for the owner’s comment I’d at least give it 3 stars, but wow, such a poor decision...

My girlfriend and I were actually the very first customers to walk into Oui, and we had such an amazing experience. The atmosphere was inviting, the food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. The interior design is also stylish and quite visually appealing too.

It’s not always easy for restaurants to stick around in this area (RIP Chica), so it’s awesome to see a new spot bringing something fresh to the community. Places like this really add character, and I hope people show them the support they deserve.

We left looking forward to coming back and trying out the many different options they offer...

Extremely disappointed. I waited over 40 minutes for my avocado sandwich and arugula salad, and I couldn’t wait anymore so I asked to go. When I got back to home, saw and tried this food - it was terrible. The salad looked unappetizing, and sandwich is just gross with one small piece of chicken. When I asked about the long wait, the older owner/manager responded rudely and sarcastically, saying it had only been 32 minutes, with a smirk, when I knew for sure that it was 40 min because I texted to my team when I ordered a food. After this experience, I will never return. Just 0 star...
