I got a ham and cheese sub yesterday and it was awful. The bread was dry and old. I wanted Mayo on the bread and the slapped it on last on top of everything. Make a horribly sloppy and messy sandwich. Mayo falling everywhere. The 6 inch sub should’ve been $6.49 plus tax. The lady at the register had an attitude and told me I was getting a turkey and cheese and it was gonna be $11 and some change. I politely told her it’s only a ham and cheese and even the lady that made the sandwich said no she got a ham and cheese not a combo. She got upset with me and still decided to charge me for MVP sandwich paying nine dollars for a 6 inch ham and cheese sub. She had an attitude with me and I was walking out. She called me the B word. My daughter is in the hospital and I’m under stress , and with this being the subway that serves Jackson Memorial Hospital would think that the employees would be a little more sympathetic and kind and just have better customer service. I asked the server to please raise her mask so that her nostrils were covered explaining to her that if she sneezed it could get on my food. She then refused to serve me and proceeded to take the next customer. I asked for her name and she told me to come back at 7am. I asked her for her name again and she refused to give me her name and told me to come back at 7am. She was extremely rude. During a pandemic, safety and the health of customers should be a top priority especially in the food service industry. As a healthcare provider I was appalled at the lack of disregard for my health and for public safety by this employee. A lot of negative comments from customers, a lot of complaints to the managers and nothing is being done about it. I placed a online order, gave them a extra 10mins for my order to not be ready. I was told by the associate that the order was never received and sent to another subway. i called the number on the app and the phone was ringing. This is the only 24hour subway at Jackson. I asked for a refund and was told I wasn’t able to get one. The associates seem like they didn’t even know what they were doing.
