Thank you Buffalo Wild Wings for replying to this review. Unfortunately when you go to your website to file a complaint, the Michigan City, Indiana location is not listed as a restaurant location. I assume this is due to the large number of complaints!
Since moving to the new location, the buffalo wild wings in Michigan City, Indiana is Absolutely horrible. I walked in to the carry out area to make a to go order. While waiting for almost 10 minutes to order I started talking with another guest that was there. He told me he was waiting for them to bring out food that they had forgotten in his order. Thankfully I ran into this gentleman because it is the reason I checked my order before leaving. The employees working in the take out area were very unpleasant. I was told 20 minutes for my order. I returned 25 minutes later and waited another 5 minutes or so before anyone acknowledged me. I told the worker my name and phone number and he began looking for my order. In the meantime of not being able to find my order he placed 2 bags of food in the keep warm units. After about 5 minutes he comes and asks me what I ordered because they dont know where my order is. Several minutes later another worker came out and asked my name and phone number and then grabbed 1 of the 2 bags out of the warmer that the first employee had placed in there while looking for my order. She said here it is, I don't know what he was doing. I then began checking my order. I ordered the 3 dip appetizer, 15 wings with chipotle seasoning and a large wedges with chipotle seasoning. Items missing from my order when I checked: only had 10 wings not 15, had no queso in my appetizer, had no wedges at all. So after another 5 minutes or so of waiting and them running around I ended up with what I thought was a complete order. This is what I ended up getting: 15 wings(the original 10 were seasoned the 5 they originally missed had no seasoning on them at all), a small order of wedges with no seasoning(ordered a large wedges with chipotle seasoning), I got chips and all 3 dips for the appetizer but the chips were SO salty they were inedible. This was my first visit back to buffalo wild wings in several months. I stopped going because of bad experiences at several locations. After today I doubt I will return to any buffalo wild wings but I will definitely never return to the Michigan city location. I am a regular customer at the Wings Etc in laporte, Indiana and I have never had an issue there, or at any of the wings etc locations I've been to. Your employees could learn a lot from your...
Read moreWe had heard some negative reviews of the new place, but after my son’s graduation, it’s where he wanted to go. This was the first Sunday in June. Table of eight. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong, but the problems were fixable, but no one bothered to fix them. Three orders were wrong. Two were incomplete, and even after explaining to our server, she never made the orders right. Fries were cold. No drink refills despite asking several times (it was really hot that day, too). When our bill came, we expected to see at least something comp’d since not one of us got the right order or the full order. Nothing. I asked to speak to a manager and waited an unusually long time for a bartender to come tell me that he wasn’t available (right?) since I had already paid my bill, there was nothing I could do, so I left my number w the bartender. The following Thursday the manager Frank called me. He was exceedingly apologetic especially since it was supposed to be a celebration. His solution was for all of us to return for a full meal on the house because he was falling all over himself w regret and the promise that he wanted to show us what a great time could be had at the MC BWs. He left me his personal phone number and told me to call to set it up for another time. Okay. Know better, so better, right? Well, when I contacted him the first time to take him up on his offer, but he wasn’t scheduled that evening, so he said he could set us up with a different manager who would comp some appetizers, which was entirely different than what he originally promised, so we said we would wait for a better opportunity. I texted and called Frank multiple times after this to schedule our new experience, but he never responded to my texts nor would he take my calls when I called the restaurant. He definitely still works there because he was there each time I called. I left detailed messages w the employees who answered the phone. He never responded the entire week that I was trying to reach him. He still hasn’t responded. I guess this is how he will show us a good time at BWs. Avoid this one. You call multiple times and get hung up on or placed on hold for long periods of time only to be told they forget you’re on the phone. I call in one day to place an order. Got hung up on 3 times after asked “can you please hold?” Then finally after calling back again & placed on hold. I waited for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes I drove into the Michigan City location with phone still in hand & on hold, to walk into an empty restaurant & no other customers at the counter. Why am I on hold still? Now I’ve wasted over 30 minutes just trying to place an order. Called in today only to be placed on hold for over 15 minutes. Called back with my daughters phone & was able to place an order right away with my other call still on hold. How does this makes any sense. Ask to speak with a manager. The manager Tim gets on the phone to make excuses & tells me he can see why it happens because he forgets people on calls all the time & explained how he just earlier forgot a man on hold! At this point it is not the regular staff that is at fault, it’s the management that cannot conduct the business in an orderly fashion with good customer service & cannot instill it into his staff if he doesn’t care or carry good customer service traits. Didn’t even get an apology or that they would work on doing better. I guess calling above him is the only way to get this resolved.
