My husband and I stopped in before we went home. Upon entering my immediate thought was "wow, this reminds me of the 90's". Its like a 90's vibe with the modern and hard lines. This place has a lot of blues and blacks that really fit well together. The art on the wall is one of a kind. The design of this place was well thought out. The service was ok, it was not the best service I've ever had but it was not bad, ther server definitely could have smiled more. The menu was a bit limited but he food was magnificent, we enjoyed an appetizer drinks, salad, and dessert. The prices are great and the smooth ambiance was perfect! We visited here on a Thursday around 230 ish so it wasn't busy. The food came out in a timely manner. I live 50 mins away from this place, I WILL MAKE THE TRIP BACK! This place is 21 and up, so no kids which is AWESOME. Great place for business meetings, girl time, or romantic dinner for two. Really enjoyed...
Read moreI’ve been here to eat now 4 times before I gave a review. I’m very skeptical about NWI restaurants because (they’re not gonna like reading this) they don’t adhere to the same high quality standards one gets when say eating in a major city. The big city joints have to prove themselves constantly or risk dying. That said, this place cares about quality and service. No big heavy meals that can feed 2 off 1 plate. Very flavorful plates, excellent bar drink choices and they are generous with their wine and drinks. It’s now my go-to place for a well made delicious meal in Michigan City. I had the 12oz ribeye, a salad and fresh warm bread and butter with a glass of Merlot before my meal that set me right. Steak was tender and cooked excellently rare and their rub and horseradish sauce for the steak was just right. My compliments to the Chef. These folks know how to treat their customers and I’ll be back...
Read moreVery beautiful ambiance, wonderful server... Helpful, and friendly. But my husband ordered the fried perch, instead of grilled because the grilled had an ingredient in it that he is allergic to. I ordered grilled. When the meal came, i noticed mine was the same as his, his was obviously grilled too. Unfortunately, he already had started eating it. We asked the server, and the manager overheard. I believe she put the order in correctly, the kitchen made a mistake. The manager took the perch (um, he could have given it to me, but whatever) and the kitchen made his fried. The bill came, no compensation. I try not to have entitlement issues, and feel like i should be over-catered to... But come on, really?! He was sick to his stomach the day after because eating it. Oh, and the grilled really did looked fried. Actually looked similar. It was not his fault...
