EDIT: MY NEW FAVORITE HOBBY IS TAKING ANYONE IM WITH TO HOBBY LOBBY TO SHOW THEM HOW RIDICULOUSLY UNCOMFORTABLE TO SHOP AT THIS LOCATION SO THEY NEVER MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID COMING TO THIS STORE AND SUPPORTING THIS BUSINESS 😊
Apparently I "look" a certain way every time I'm in this store I am followed and watched like a hawk. While shopping another customer approached me and asked if I felt uncomfortable the way they were treating me absolutely I was and he felt the same they made it super uncomfortable to shop. Maybe ask me if I need help finding anything would be the correct option? I thought it was just me but4 other customer felt she same way and we all put our stuff down and walked out. I do diamond painting and unfortunately this is where I used to buy my supplies and diamond art. I hope these people learn how to treat customers. Mind you hobby lobby has a bunch of fun cool things to walk and look around at. Here you need to get in and get out or you're treated like a theif. Another lady who worked there found a tag that came off something and brought it up to the register and said someone just stole something it was in the isle they were in meaning me and my fiance. I swear I will never return and I hope these people get treat the way they are treating people. I'm pissed. Also while talking with these other customers 2 employees the one following me And the employee following them stayed at the end of the isle we were talking and made the comment of course those 2 groups of people get together. What kind of "people" is she refering too? I warned another customer going in and can you believe he walked out 3x pissed off as me , because I was right . He was an African American man . And I guarantee he was followed because the color of his skin and he felt the same. Get it the hell together before you get a lawsuit...
Read moreMy friend and I were followed by a literal group of employees from the moment we walked in because...we were young and not at work in the middle of the day on a Thursday? I'm not sure. We are business owners who have a well-earned, better-than-average income for our age with our kids all gone to school and some much-needed free-time to do some shopping and we are in the midst of remodeling our house. We have enjoyed the fun finds are Hobby Lobby in the past and have never had an experience like this before, so imagine our frustration when we both individually and when together had 2, 3, all the way up to 5 employees following us up and down each aisle, staring daggers at us for the half hour or so we were there. Not working. Not stocking. Not cleaning. Merely following us around, watching our every move, banging on a cart one was leaning on, occasionally throwing snide comments our way like, "maybe go find that wherever you usually pick your deals." My friend has PTSD which was seriously triggered by multiple things they were doing, mainly the banging and staring, and left the store in a pure panic. When asked why we were being followed around, they said it's what their boss told them to do. We called corporate as soon as we left the store. I'm shocked and disappointed to say the least as we will not be going back there any time soon thanks to the extremely unwelcome treatment of...

I was whisked away into instant bliss among all the themed decorations, spectacular floral selection, isles full of yarn for my crocheting hobby, everything Fall and Christmas, drawing supplies, puzzles, candy, posters, coin collection supplies, mini doll houses - I can't name it all, but I sure wanted to start 100 craft projects because of it!
I found myself smiling as I strolled the isles there, in happiness, over all the possibilities of things to create! This visit reminded me that I need to get back into making things again! In addition to making afghans - making doll clothes, sketching, painting, and making wreaths - I used to enjoy. Then the hobby I always wanted to do was decorate a doll house room by room with miniatures, wallpaper, and flooring! Hobby Lobby has all...
