I called them up to make a reservation for a party of 6. They took my name, made the reservation, and said, right now it's a 25 minute wait. I said to her, on the phone, I can be there in 20 minutes, and she said, check in when you get here. I checked in, I saw my name written on a spiral notebook, and watched her put a check mark next to it. She said to me, your table is not ready yet, wait outside, and we'll call your name. Twenty-five minutes later, I went back in, to inquire whether my table was ready yet. Now I am being told, there's one more party in front of you, then you are next. We stood outside, and listened to them call, party after party, and seated them. A half an hour later, they called our name. A full 55 minutes after we had arrived, or 1 hour and 15 minutes after I called and was told, it was a 25 minute wait. I have been coming to this restaurant for a couple of years, and this has happened to me before. I understand, and I am happy that you are a busy restaurant, but I feel like you straight up lie to your customers about, wait times. They must think, after you have been standing there for 30 minutes, that you won't get into your car, and leave. You will most likely continue to wait, knowing that going to a different restaurant, will probably take just as long, or longer. For me... I will never, go to this restaurant again, unless they have immediate seating, because I know their estimated wait time, is just a...
Read moreThis place is great. We were there on Sunday, 11/4/18 There was a line waiting to be seated at 3pm. I found this to be the beginning of early bird specials. We were seated at about 10 minutes after we arrived. I had a dish called A Taste of Italy. A piece of lasagna, a meatball, 2 raviolis and the most tenderest piece of chicken parmesan all smothered in sauce and cheese. This also came with soup or salad. I had the salad with their Italian dressing on it. Very tasty. I also had bread with the most delicious dipping oil. My wife had chicken parmesan. It was as big as the plate. So very tender and delicious. She had chicken Florentine soup. She described it as the best she's had since her grandmother's recipe. Grandmother has passed away a number of years ago. She also loved the food so much. She said this where you will be coming to get takeout when I get sick. This is a BYOB. This was our first visit to the restaurant. The check was really reasonable. We will definitely be returning. We did not have the early bird specials which includes soup or salad, entrée, soft drink, and dessert. The check would have been more reasonable. This place is...
Read moreThis review is for the new Wildwood location on Magnolia Ave. I went here with some family over our labor day weekend stay in wildwood. In short, it was possibly the best restaurant experience I've ever had. My wife's mom & fiance had been here before, and we're raving about the quality and portion sizes of the food. We went at 6pm on a Tuesday night, so it wasn't busy at all. Service was flawless. Everything we ordered came out quickly, and we were blown away by the portion sizes. You could feed three people off their waffle fry appetizer alone. Everything we ate was fantastic. The house salad dressing was awesome, nice and sweet. My brother in law raved about his seafood entree, and also said the calamari appetizer was the best he'd ever had. Simply fantastic experience all around. We're from Philly, so we mentioned having to make a special trip down the shore during the off season just to eat here again. The new location is right off the boardwalk, and they also have a nice sized parking lot just down the block which is free. Go eat there! You will not be...
