Well, I loveee Rita's and my experiences have been very good.. except for my most recent when one of the younger employees hocked a ball of spit into the bottom of my cup after slamming the screen door in my face because she thought the milkshake was for my sister whom she didn't like I guess. I waited until it was finished and asked the young lady for a new one because I saw her plain as day as she spit in the cup, she denied it and I was patient until the supervisor made me another as I watched carefully. Love this place, the dessert is delicious I love the peanut butter sundae. The girls behind the counter are very friendly very helpful - they offered my puppy vanilla ice cream and peanut butter ! So much fun (my dogs too tiny for sugar but the thought was so nice!) They social distance and customers and workers are wearing masks .. Seems owner has history of talking down to anyone who has a problem with people or services at Rio grande location Bought a sundae, no whipped cream or cherry , said we had to ask for it.
