Wawa — Restaurant in Middle Township

I usually love this wawa. As a disabled person who has spent 15 months unhoused due to Cape May County Social Services repeatedly refusing to issue me a voucher unless I "get rid of" my service dog (a violation of Federal Law itself), it's nice to have access to a bathroom and go in for a cup of water. Today a man who looks like Santa Claus and used to be my neighbor was working the register and I hadn't had any issue with him before but tonight he spitefully said "I see, nothing that we charge for," when he saw that I had gotten water without the usual redbull or milk I often pick up in the evening (this being because I didn't get food stamps or welfare money this month but my dog still needs water). Then he rushed away to go complain about me to someone working the beverage station, whom i assume is likely the night shift manager. That guy used to get terse and grumpy if I walked my dog outside my room at the Jersey Shore motel because he claimed he "couldn't let his cats out" even near a friendly on-leash dog (I have videos of Chief playing with his feline friend Felix). The cashier was lovely. My chip card wasn't working well and he was super patient, however the screen wound up freezing on "please remove card". He asked Samira for help and she just kept telling me my card was declined and to pay another way. I would have loved to pay another way but the pin pad was frozen, and apparently that was beyond her understanding. I literally showed her, and she just kept louder and louder saying "it was declined".

As a manager of a different gas station, the way she treated me, as well as the lack of support she showed her employee is horrendous. I'm not sure why local people come there if that's the service the "lead" cashier is showing.

If your leadership is any indication of what they look to portray at this location, they have much bigger issues.

Went in here which I am always here in I came in to get cigarettes showed her my id and she said she has to scan the back the only thing it says I have to do is show u my id doesn't say anything about i have to let you scan my id in this I am at this wawa and alot of different Wawa's every day more then one time a day and for this lady to not sell me the cigarettes because I wouldn't let her scan my id is crazy when I know alot of people in this wawa I never had a problem before untill tonight went into the Wawa got a chicken cheese steak classic this is what...
