Update 06/23 - update to indicate the experience we had today was a night and day difference compared to the experience we had during our last visit. During our first visit, we were still just coming out of the major COVID lockdowns and things were still not quite "normal"
Today, our waiter was outstanding. Service was excellent, food was quick and tasty, complete 180 from our original experience. It had been such a bad original experience it took us awhile to try the location again but based on our experience and those that I was observing of other tables around us, the old experience is a thing of the past. Good on the staff and management for setting this bar high once again.
Old review below: Overall, was not the greatest experience I have had at an Aladdin's establishment. As is the case in most restaurants due recently, they were very clearly understaffed. Unfortunately it seems the staff was more concerned about making the to go orders then caring for the in restaurant patrons.
From the beginning, our server seemed to get continually side-tracked by answering the phone and handing to go orders. Between us and two other tables seated in the section, we barely ever saw them. I ran out of water within 15 minutes of being seated and did not see our server again for almost 25 mins when our food was brought out. We asked for drink refills and additional napkins but they never returned with either.
I observed them take a phone order, prep a to go order, grab the food for the table near us, disappear in the back and not return again until well past us finishing our meals (again we both were out of beverages) eventually they stopped by, we asked again for beverages, got them after several minutes, asked for a dessert, got that but had no silverware. Asked for a fork. They never returned. After waiting 10 minutes, got up and went to the front counter and had to ask for the fork again.
The cherry on top was, what appeared to be the manager on duty, made the rounds asking if everyone was doing okay but skipped just our table. We observed they rounded every other table occupied.
It took almost 15 more minutes for us to get our final bill before we used the phone payment option.
I completely understand they were short staffed and running as best as they could. I would absolutely visit this location again as I do believe this was most likely an anomaly but the fact remains it was a bad...
Read moreI have been to this Aladdin’s many times but my most recent experience was with an online order. We placed an order using the website and I went to pick it up, and upon returning home I discovered that the pint of Len-Chili soup I ordered had chicken in it. After double checking our order receipt to be sure we ordered it without any chicken, I called the store to request a refund. They were quick to get the manager on the phone and she was happy to issue a refund. I then decided to mention that I was pretty bummed, because I am vegan and this was my first dinner after a 5 day fast and I was so excited for this soup. It isn’t in my nature to have shared all that, but I felt compelled to share that even though this order item was wrong, it wasn’t going to be eaten and I didn’t want to drive back to the store to pick up a replacement. The manager I was speaking to, Kelly, insisted that she would drive over a new soup to me, without chicken. I told her it wasn’t necessary, I just wanted her to know. She was persistent and because I really was looking forward to that soup, I agreed. She showed up shortly after with a full quart of Len-Chili (no chicken) and it was AMAZING. I am a long time patron of all the Aladdin’s restaurants, but this service from the Middleburg Heights location was truly ABOVE and BEYOND. I am grateful for the amazing food, the variety of vegan and gluten free options, and the incredible team of people working at Aladdin’s to ensure that everyone has an incredible...

ONLY REASON I CAME HERE WAS BECAUSE GREEK GRILL and Mediterranean market were CLOSED and I didn't make it in time for Greek Grill. Only Reason I paid for the order was because I didn't know the price beforehand on the phone! Online menu hides prices. When I showed up, employee told me total and I was surprised. $50 for 2 meat light salads and a Hummus LOL. And yeah..they are VERY stingy with the meat and all vegetables except the greens 🤣. I didn't want the employee to get in trouble so I paid for the food, otherwise I wouldn't have.
Food Tastes good and is fresh, but not worth the price. Just go get takeout from the Mediterranean Market down the street. Its much better, and for half the price. The owner of this place has lost his mind. It's like charging 10 dollars for a side of zucchini..very strange prices...but if the people of middleburg heights like being ripped off..okay i guess.
I bought 2 salads..and a large Hummus. 50 bucks..okay..makes zero sense. Haven't been here in years and won't be coming back either. Tell me if you think this is worth 50 bucks. Also who uses white onions in salad or wraps? That's weird. Lol any real place uses Red onions ! Mediterranean Market uses red onions. Go there instead you'll...
