McDonald's — Restaurant in Middleton

This place needs to be shut down. I placed an order via the app and gave them plenty of time to prepare it. When the app told me my order was ready, I went to the store and went inside to pick up the order. I saw on the overhead display that my order, #1609, was ready. There was no order waiting in the pickup shelf. There was no way to get any staff member's attention. Those who saw me seemed not to care. When I finally got the manager's attention and showed him my order on the app, he seemed bewildered. I waited another several minutes and finally my order was handed to me. While I admit I should have checked when I received the order, I was in a hurry and had to get going after having waited so long. I later found the order was wrong.

They take forever. They have no idea about your order when you arrive. Your order is not ready when you arrive. They screw up orders. When I complained to the manager about the wait, he simply told me "go to a different store."

McDonalds used to be terrific as fast food goes. Yes, it was fast food, but it was fast and orders were correct.

Now McDonalds simply doesn't care anymore. This Greenway Station location is a prime example of how much the company simply doesn't care.

I'll make my own burgers from now on. My own burgers are actually good, and I find they take as long to make as a stupid McDonald's order.

I found myself waiting 20 minutes in the drive thru line tonight. Not exactly the thing I wanted to do after working a 12 hour shift. I thought about leaving 10 minutes into it but I thought “can’t take that much longer right?” I get out of work right around the corner at 8pm and didn’t get out of that line until after 8:20. And when I finally get to the window I got no “sorry for the wait”. Just a sleepy teenager who continued to take his sweet time with gathering my order. The guy in front of me waited over 5 minutes between getting payment taken and all his food given to him. If I was okay with waiting 20 minutes I would have went to a regular restaurant , not a fast food line. The reason I’m bothering to write this is because this is not the first time this has happened. There have been several times I’ve waited 10-20 minutes to get through the line and when I finally get to the window I see a bunch of teenagers messing around and goofing off with my order visibly sitting on the counter. This time it seemed to be a lack of staff along with the only employee I saw not working like he should have been. I suggest teaching a bit of hard work to your younger staff and to actually work, not mess around or take your time when people have been waiting forever. Not sure I will be going back to this...

This is a CLASSIC McDonald's Restaurant with a retro 1950s atmosphere and that is the best reason to eat at this location in Middleton. The music, furnishings and furniture are all 1950s style with a very clean and modern feel to it. When my husband and I first moved to Madison we were equidistant to 2 McDonald's. We rapidly found ourselves constantly drifting towards the McDonald's in Middleton because it is so clean, the workers are so friendly and the atmosphere is so welcoming. When we moved a year later we actually factored the location of this restaurant into choosing whether or not to move further into the city or migrate more towards Middleton. My family owns a restaurant and I have eaten at my fair share of "I was too hungry to leave" establishments where I later felt more than a little concerned. This restaurant is so clean and so well maintained regularly that I highly recommend it from that stand point as well. The bottom line is no McDonald's or fast food place is ever going to be very healthy but that being said this restaurant is about the best example of fast food I have seen in decades. I eat here regularly, I recommend it very highly and I really hope my review is taken seriously because I know it sounds a bit phoney but when I really like...
