Chikara Sushi&Asian Bistro — Restaurant in Middletown Township

My 1st time at Chikara yesterday for takeout. Unfortunately a delivery driver was giving the hostess a hard time when I walked in to pick up (I was early, no rush)... so she was a bit distracted. She actually waited on a customer who came in after me, but I don't think she was paying attention. Avocado salad, rock shrimp appetizer, garlic broccoli, tuna dragon roll and special dragon roll. Everything was good. I used my air fryer to zap the shrimp, worked perfectly. For me the garlic broccoli wasn't too greasy and veggie was cooked just enough. But way too much garlic, in my opinion (like spoonfuls left over at the bottom... some people might like that though, to repurpose). Avocado salad was good, just wish there were two little cups of dressing (for me one was not enough). The spicy mayo to dip the shrimp is good too, a basic standard (again would have like a bit more sauce). The rolls in my opinion were an okay size. I just would have liked more ginger for two rolls. And also unfortunately, no soy sauce packets :(... I think dining in would be nice too, the ambience is very nice, clean, new, modern decor (of course my little issues above would be easily managed if I had dined in). In future, for takeout I will just check my bag in the car before I leave, and I would request extra sauce. The gentleman I think manager ? who came out after the hostess asked a server to check on my order was polite. Not having the soy was the only real bummer :(... and I didn't have extra little packets at home. Prices are reasonable I think on par with other similar locations for asian/fusion etc. I will return to...

New Asian/Sushi Restaurant in town. Chikara Sushi & Asian Bistro. This place is amazing. In small strip mall next to the Granite Run Shopping Center (same strip of stores as Enterprise). I included some pics of the inside and some dishes so you can see this place is very nice. You would never know it from outside. Don't let the entrance deceive you, the food and atmosphere are great. Service was fast, very friendly, great food and more upscale than you would think. Great date spot. So glad we now have a great Asian restaurant in our area. Have been there 4 times since it opened and will be back many times more. Food is fresh and delicious, atmosphere is warm and inviting, and staff are always friendly. While not a fan of sushi, they offer plenty of other options. So far we've had: Harumaki (3 piece veggie spring roll). Just wish they were bigger in size; Crab Wonton; Wonton soup (freshest I've ever had, and flavorful!); Shrimp Tempura Roll; Crispy Rice Tuna (sooooo good); Beef Lo Mein with generous portion of tender pieces of beef; General Tso's Chicken.
