I’m very disappointed, with the not only the food I received but the customer experience I had as well. Let me say I I worked for dominos for years, it’s a good company. Since moving to a new city I haven’t had a chance to get dominos as much when i did in the country, I ordered today bc I saw a 50% off promo- I order my food ( great online ordered & marketing btw) I gave beyond clear delivery instructions, ( including what color car I have, and front door decorations ) my first order was NEVER delivered- when i called the store I was on hold for a very long time ( but was understanding, they are busy I get it ) finally talked with someone and the level of disrespect, after she called my driver she told me- well your food was delivered but the driver doesn’t know if it he dropped it off at the right place, and proceeded to tell me she can just give me a $20 credit, not worry about it , or they could remake it but it would take about an hr for me to get my order, when I offered to just come pick up my food I was told they were extremely busy, and that the driver would just bring it, I told the lady I would not like a credit I wanted the food, by this point I expressed ma’am listen I understand I worked for this company for years, my concern is if the driver was unsuccessful in delivering my order the first time how do I know he will be able to deliver my re-order, do you all know I was told the driver has worked for them for over 15 years and he is more than capable to deliver pizza, I agreed and said okay- as I was waiting for my re-order I decided to at least stand by the door and in efforts to come outside just Incase I need to come down the street to meet the driver, ( even though it’s the middle of winter 19 degrees outside but I guess ) as I was opening the door to wait for my delivery, I caught the driver leaving my pizza on the sidewalk… to make it worse this isn’t even what I ordered. Maybe they Middletown location is overworked, understaffed, and underpaid and that’s why they can skip out on a customer or two’ -but it doesn’t make it right at all. I had the longest day, and after reading through a law brief, I too feel over worked and wanted pizza which is why I ordered it ! I can honestly say I’m beyond disappointed, and even when you are respectful and understanding to situations it doesn’t matter because this location doesn’t value their customers anyway. Now if I would have been one of those belligerent customers that talk crazy to , call you everything but a child of God, and make threats maybe I would have been given the decency of a paying customer , but obviously I’m trash just like this meal that was delivered. Do BETTER ! TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS BETTER, and even if you’re having a bad day at least be respectful. Poor experience, poor customer service, but the website & app work just lovely and every other dominios I’ve ever ordered from has...
Read moreFirst time I could actually get through to order through the website in over a month. The phone line is a joke, I've literally never gotten through after 7pm-- just sit on hold with the same automated message repeated. Then I have issues placing my order online on the website, and finally was able to submit it ten minutes before 12 (started the ordering process at 11) The website said that as long as the order was placed before 12, it would still be made and delivered. Got a text message at 12:01 saying that my order was canceled, and to call the store if I have questions. But of course since someone waited until 12:01, the phone forwards my call and says to come back tomorrow.
As someone who's been in the food industry for years as a closing manager, this is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Nobody likes getting that one last customer, but to purposefully wait until 12:01 to cancel the order? It's completely unacceptable.
Domino's policy (as any other franchise) should be upheld by every employee. Because not only does it reflect back on the franchise owner, but the company itself. I'm not upset that I'm not getting my order. I am upset at the disregard and dishonesty. All someone had to say was "were out of x, y and z." Or "there is only one person here tonight ". And I would understand. But now I've got to figure out dinner with the money already...
Read moreI’ll never use this dominos again. We placed an online order, typed n the credit card info, and received a message saying the orders couldn’t b placed and to try again later. After this happened 2-3 times, we called the store and I was told the order did go through and was paid for. After picking up the order, it was wrong. I told them this and the manager said we could order the items that was supposed to be on the order but we’d have to pay for them, on top of paying for the items we didn’t order. This was clearly the fault of dominos online…not anyone who worked here. The manager couldn’t even consider that being what happened, and argued with me that there was no mistake, the only way the items I was charged for were items I chose. If I had chose them, I’d b happy to receive them. Duh! I ended up paying for crap I didn’t want and not getting what I actually ordered and had to pay WITHOUT the discount associated with the coupon used for the order. I’ve always gotten great service from the dominos I usually use, so I just ignored all the bad reviews for this store. BIG mistake. Do urself a favor, if u HAVE to have dominos tonight, drive a few miles extra to a different store unless u really like to gamble…which is always n the houses favor. This is...
