La Placita — Restaurant in Middletown

I thought that I had good Mexican food until I went to this restaurant! This food was out of this world! The flavors have been haunting me ever since my visit! If I lived closer, I could probably eat here every day! Everything we ordered was prepared with amazing detail! I could not imagine the food possibly tastings any better than it did! I am greatly anticipating the next time we will be able to go to try more of the dishes that are on the menu! I am a chef of 20 years, and I don't think if I spent my whole life trying to recreat these recipes could I ever do such a good job! It is obvious they have spent their whole life passionately designing these amazing dishes! I'm sure these recipes have been passed down for generations! First of all, I want to thank La Placita customer service for always greeting me with a smile. The food on La Placita is outstanding! I’m vegetarian and don’t eat meat and they are always available to customize my orders to not include meat. I just have about a month that I started visiting this place and I love it! I strongly recommend this restaurant! From tortas(sandwich), quesadillas, burritos to tamales everything is delicious. I also buy the Oaxaca string cheese that they use for their corn quesadillas and other recipes, waters(juices made from fresh fruit), fresh mangoes, guavas, and more! Place was straight fire. I got the chicken and carnitas tacos and they were awesome. 4 of them cost 16 bucks but I’d say it was still pretty worth it. The meat is tender and the tortilla has a nice corn flavor. I liked that I was given a lot of limes and the hot sauce was ACTUALLY hot and tasted great.
